This week I’m using the Adorable Owls Stamp Set and I can see where they get their name from…
So adorable!!!
It’s a free stamp set right now through the end of February with a $50 order!
They were perfect for a Valentine’s Day card for this month’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop theme: Love.
My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock. I embossed a smaller Basic White panel over that with the Gingham Embossing Folder.
Next I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out a Basic White circle and adhered a Melon Mambo square behind it.
I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink and cut it out with one of the banners from that same die set.
I stamped the owls from the Adorable Owls Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored them in with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I then colored the bowtie, Night of Navy; beak and feet, Pumpkin Pie; and eyes, Pool Party.
For the girls’ bow, I stamped the one owl, colored it in with Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends Markers, and fussy cut it out.
I fussy cut the owls out and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Last, I stamped the heart bubble in Melon Mambo ink from the Conversation Bubbles Stamp Set and cut it out with the coordinating dies.
Thanks for checking out my card today!
