Stampin' Up! Sweet Symmetry Thinking of You Card

I love our Designer Series Paper. First, it’s double sided so you actually get 12 designs in a pack. Second, it’s all coordinating, meaning you can mix and match the patterns up and don’t have to worry about them matching. Thirdly, they make paper crafting so quick and easy!

I pulled out the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.

My card starts off with Bumblebee cardstock.

I then took a pattern from the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper and matted it on Night of Navy cardstock.

I stamped the butterflies from the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set in Bumblebee Ink on Basic White cardstock. I then took a Blending Pen and lightly pulled the color all around the butterfly.

*Tip: Be light-handed with the Blending Pen as it’s meant to be used with Watercolor Paper. Don’t go over the same spot more than once.

I cut the butterflies out using the Brilliant Wings Dies. I sort of fluffed the wings with my hands and adhered down just the body of them using some Tear & Tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink, cutting it out with the coordinating Beautiful Trees Dies.

Lastly, I added a few Resin Dots. Thanks for checking out my project today!!!
