Stampin’ Up! January Customer Appreciation Cards

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop challenge is a color challenge.  Have fun hopping around and seeing what everyone’s created this week.

First off I have to say that even though it clearly says Powder Pink for the color challenge, I somehow pulled out my Blushing Bride, so my colors are a smidge off from everyone else’s.

I’m working on getting customer cards ready to go out for January orders and I really liked these colors for such.

I pulled out the Daisy Delight Bundle which I used a ton last year and then as the holidays hit rarely picked up.  Not that spring is anywhere near, it’s still fun to play with flowers and things that make you smile.

My card starts off with Blushing Bride cardstock.  I then layered (from top down) Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Gold Foil, and Basic Black cardstock.  Next I adhered across a small panel of Gold Foil.  I took a pattern from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and cut it in a banner to adhere over everything.

I created my daisy using the Daisy Delight Bundle and Blushing Bride and Memento Black ink.  I adhered behind it some Gold Thread and Mini Gold Sequins.  I adhered it using Stampin Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink and adhered it using Stampin Dimensionals.

I needed to make more cards than I had that specific patterned DSP for, so I decided to change up the order of layering and this time use a different pattern from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP.

Then I thought I’d switch things up again and try something else and this time used Thick Whisper White cardstock as the base to my card and switch around the layering again.

So three cards, same layout, same design, same colors, but a bit different…
Which ones your favorite?

Stampin’ Up! “Love” Blog Hop – Watts of Occasions

This month’s Amy’s Inkin Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “Love.”  Have fun hopping around and seeing how everyone interpreted this theme.

My card today starts off with Berry Burst cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and embossed it using the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder.  I matted this on a slightly larger Whisper White panel and adhered it to the card front.

I then layered up a pattern from the Fresh Florals DSP, a banner of Emerald Envy cardstock, and the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Watts of Occasions stamp set and was stamped in Emerald Envy ink on Whisper White cardstock.  (I’m a sucker for a good punny sentiment.)

Next I cut out an oval using the Stitched Shapes Framelits out of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.  I stamped the light bulb from the Watts of Occasions stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I cut it out using Paper Snips and adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I wound around a few times some Berry Burst ribbon and tied a Linen Thread knot around the middle to hold it in place and adhered it to the card using a small piece of Tear & Tape adhesive.

Enjoy!

My card today was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday challenge and the Paper Players challenge.

My card starts off with Island Indigo cardstock on which I stamped the Hardwood stamp set in Island Indigo ink.

I took a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and stamped the leaf image from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set over it a bunch of times in Night of Navy ink.  I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card.

Next I cut out a Whisper White label using the Pretty Label Punch.  I stamped the same leaf image from the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set in Fresh Fig Ink on the label after stamping off four times (I wanted a really muted color).  I then adhered this to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow in Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon and adhered it to the side of the label using Tear & Tape adhesive.  (I just love bows with long tails.  They get me every time.)  I also added a few pearls on the card front to finish it off.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s TGIF Challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Lots of Lavender

Are you keeping warm today?

Here in Upstate New York we’re having a high of -1 … you read that right, as in, minus one!
So to my craft room I must go to stay warm 🙂

Today’s card was featured in my Facebook Live Tutorial Wednesday night.  Every Wednesday night at 7:30 pm EST I go live giving a tutorial.  This is a great time to check out new product, new techniques, and to ask questions.  It’s a lot of fun!

Don’t forget Sale-a-bration is in full swing and to celebrate now through January 11th I’m offering DOUBLE Star Rewards!  It gets you that much closer to that free $30 order AND earns you free Sale-a-bration items along the way!

My card today starts off with Soft Sky cardstock.  I then took a panel of Emerald Envy cardstock and matted it on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card front.

Next I used the Layering Squares Framelits to cut out the largest scalloped square from Whisper White cardstock and a slightly smaller square from Berry Burst cardstock.  I embossed the Berry Burst square using the Petal Burst embossing folder.  Next I cut a small strip of Soft Sky cardstock, cut the ends in a banner using the Triple Banner Punch, and adhered it over the card front.

I cut out a Berry Burst scalloped Square and White Shimmery cardstock square using the Layering Squares Framelits.  I stamped the flowers in Versamark in each corner of the White Shimmery cardstock, sprinkled them with white embossing powder, and heat set them with the heat tool.  I then took an Aqua Painter and Emerald Envy and Berry Burst ink pads to color over them.  I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set separately on another piece of white Shimmery cardstock and adhered it over the square.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by challenges this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments and Stamp, Ink, Paper.

Now onto today’s card…

Did you have a nice Christmas?
We had my parents over and close friends and had so much fun.
And it even snowed on Christmas which honestly rarely happens.

I created this special message for today as it’s going to be bitterly cold here in Upstate New York, but our hearts are bursting with warmth!

I started out with Night of Navy cardstock.  Next I took the Color Theory DSP and the snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits to cut out snowflakes in different gradient blues.

Next I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock to run vertically down the card.  I took another panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Marina Mist cardstock to be a backdrop for my mittens.

I cut out the mittens using Marina Mist and Whisper White cardstock and the Many Mittens Framelits.  I tied a Night of Navy Baker’s Twine bow around the one.

Next I stamped out the words for my sentiment using the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set and Night of Navy Ink.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride – Two Ways

My first order from the 2018 Occasions Catalog arrived and I’ve started playing with a few of the new goodies.

You are going to LOVE the new catalogs!!!!!

I feel like a kid in a candy shop playing with brand new product.  There’s something about opening a new packet of DSP or ribbon…so exciting.

Also be sure to check out my Product Share of all of the new Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, and Embellishments.  I offer a number of options and you can check out all the details here.

My Facebook Live Video Wednesday night at 7:30 EST will feature the new Picture Perfect Party Suite.  Swing by as I give you a tutorial of a brand new card.  I have fun, and am very real, as I’ve been known to run out of adhesive, forget names of product, and even go live upside down.  🙂

On to today’s card…

I am all caught up on Christmas cards so I thought I’d use the Bike Ride Stamp Set today.

It’s been a bit since I’ve used it and I had so much fun, I thought I’d make two cards.  I’d love to know which one if your favorite.

Card number one starts off with Berry Burst cardstock.  I then took a panel of White Shimmery cardstock to create my scene on.  I cut out a circle using the Layering Circles Framelits from copy paper to create a stencil.  Next I put it over the Shimmery cardstock and colored the top part in using an Aqua Painter and Powder Pink ink and the bottom using Berry Burst ink.

Next I stamped the bike from the Bike Ride Stamp Set in Archival Black ink, as well as the flower clusters in two of the corners.  I used an Aqua Painter to color the flowers in using Berry Burst ink and the petals using Tranquil Tide ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set in Archival Black ink.  I matted the Shimmery White cardstock on Tranquil Tide cardstock and adhered everything to the card front.

Card #2 starts off with Tranquil Tide cardstock.  Next I stamped the bike from the Bike Ride stamp set in Archival Black ink in the center of a panel of White Shimmery cardstock.  I also stamped the flower cluster in Archival Black ink hanging off the bike.

I colored the bike and flowers in using an Aqua Painter and Berry Burst ink and Tranquil Tide ink.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Archival Black Ink from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set to the left of the bike.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Delivery

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

The other day while looking through my ribbons I saw the Rich Razzleberry Stitched Edged Ribbon.  It got me thinking…I couldn’t remember the last time I had used Rich Razzleberry be it in paper, ribbon, ink.  It had been a long while and I really enjoy this color.

So that’s how we got today’s card.

My card starts off with (drum roll please) Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  I then cut a Whisper White cardstock measuring 4″ x 5-1/4″.  I cut a pattern from the Birthday Memories DSP measuring 2-3/4″ x 5-1/8″ and adhered it to the top.  I took a panel of Rich Razzleberry cardstock measuring 1-1/8″ x 5-1/8″ to adhere to the bottom.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Deliveries Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I cut a scalloped oval for it to be matted on from the Layering Ovals Framelits.  Behind that I cut a 1″ Whisper White double banner .

Lastly, I adhered a Rich Razzleberry bow to the left of the oval and added a few Rich Razzleberry enamel dots.

Enjoy!

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Brightly Lit Christmas

I’m using the Brightly Lit Christmas Bundle for today’s card.

It’s currently in the Year End Sale running now through January 2nd.  This promotion features current product on sale and retired product from the Holiday catalog.  Product is available while supplies last, so don’t wait!

My card starts off with a card base of Dapper Denim cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the brayer to create my background using Dapper Denim ink.  I rolled the brayer on the Dapper Denim ink pad (to pick up ink) and then starting from the one end rolled along the Whisper White from one end to the other.

The key is to only go in one direction, don’t go back and forth.  I repeated this over and over (a lot) until I get the darkness I was looking for.

I matted this on another panel of Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card front.

I used the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits Dies to cut out my lamppost from Basic Black cardstock and the lights from Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I also cut out a banner (to go behind the sentiment) from Dapper Denim cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set in Dapper Denim ink on a small panel of Whisper White and adhered it over the banner.  I cut out the snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies from Whisper White cardstock and adhered them around the card.

Enjoy!

STAMPARATUS RESERVATION OPEN TODAY!

As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period Stampin Up will take as many orders as they receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30.

Please note the following changes:

  • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
  • In order to accommodate demand, limits have changed as follows: one reservation per customer and one per demonstrator.
  • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you and your customers to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

STAMPARATUS RESERVATION CHANGES:

The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided Stampin Up with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! Stampin Up couldn’t be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that they’ve decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.

As was previously announced, the second reservation window will remain open from December 5–30; however, during this reservation period Stampin Up will take as many orders as they receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

Please note what has not changed:

  • If you reserved more than one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved.
  • If you reserved one or more stamping tool(s) during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
  • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM (MT) on December 5.

YEAR END SALE EVENT:

Head on over to my store for Stampin Up’s year-end sales event!!!  This is a combination of retired product (that once gone, is gone for good) and product on sale that will stick around (although not on sale) from the Annual Catalogs.

Product and sales is while supplies last!
