Stampin’ Up! Simple Painted Harvest Card

I love the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.

It’s one I haven’t used in a bit, but it’s sweet and makes simple cards beautiful.

My card starts off with Mango Melody cardstock which I layered with a Mango Melody pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and first stamped the larger floral image from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight ink.  Over that I stamped the smaller floral image in Mango Melody ink and the center in Soft Suede ink.

I covered the petals with a piece of computer paper and stamped the leaves in Garden Green ink.  I then stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink and matted it on Soft Suede cardstock.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Good Morning Magnolia Card

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge is a color challenge.

I was really inspired by these colors together and I know you will be too, so be sure to play along with us.

My card starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock which I embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Watercolor Paper and stamped the flower from the Good Morning Magnolia image in Versamark ink.  I did this along the top and bottom of it, then sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I colored it in using an Aqua Painter and Grapefruit Grove, Terracotta Tile, Mint Macaron, and Pretty Peacock ink.

I then matted this on Pretty Peacock cardstock.

I next stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Grapefruit Grove cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched Nested Label Dies.  I adhered it down with two Stampin’ Dimensionals stacked on one another.

Next I wound around some Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon, poked a hole in it using Paper Snips, and secured it with a metallic brad.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! To a Wild Rose Card HSS #322

If you haven’t noticed yet which embossing folder is my favorite, this week will definitely let you know.

Without realizing it, I used the Subtle Embossing Folder both yesterday and today.

My card today starts off with Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  I then adhered over it a Whisper White panel which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

The colors for my card today were inspired by this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  Be sure to play along as it’s a very colorful one.

Next I used the To A Wild Rose Stamp Set to create my flowers.  I stamped the outline in Memento Black ink.  I stamped one flower in Rich Razzleberry and one in Rococo Rose ink, stamping off first for the more solid image.  I stamped the leaf outline in Memento Black ink and the inside in Smoky Slate ink.

I cut these out using the Wild Rose Dies.  I also used the dies to cut out Blackberry Bliss and Rococo Rose flowers and the leaves from Gray Granite cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the To A Wild Rose Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Lastly, I added a Rococo Rose Faceted Dot next to the flowers and a few Rhinestones.

Enjoy!
