Stampin’ Up! You Always Deliver Thank You Card

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!!!

2019 was a great year and I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings.  Have fun and stay safe!!

My card today starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then took another panel of Crumb Cake cardstock and embossed it using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I then cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I cut it out full size and then moved the die down a bit and ran it through again to make the rectangle smaller.  I then matted this on Basic Gray cardstock.

I stamped the You Always Deliver Images on Whisper White cardstock in Memento Black ink and colored them in using Light Soft Suede (clothes, hat), Dark Soft Suede (pant stripe, shoes, bag), Smokey Slate (packages), Ivory (skin), Bronze (hair, mustache), Light Crumb Cake (dog), Dark Crumb Cake (dog spot) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I then fussy cut each image out and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink, covering the bottom words with Washi Tape so I only stamped “thank you.”

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.  Although I didn’t necessary stick with the neutral colors they provided, I did stick to neutral colors.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Congrats Card

This week is Christmas.  I’ll be posting as normal (except for Wednesday).

I hope you have a great week ahead!  My kids are now home and it’s my favorite vacation of the year.

It’s freezing here which forces us to stay inside and relax.  Kids will play with new Christmas gifts.  There’ll be many PJ days and lots of board game playing and stamping for me.  It’s a super relaxed week and to tell you the truth – I’m more giddy about the week ahead than actual Christmas day (which can be a bit chaotic).

Christmas cards are done so I’m back to making regular every day cards (which are much needed as my stash is depleted.

My card today starts off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in So Saffron ink and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink in the corners.  I then tucked a Soft Sea Foam pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper pack behind it.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship in Pear Pizzazz ink on Soft Sea Foam cardstock and snipped the end in a banner.

I wound some Whisper White Baker’s Twine underneath and added a few pearls around it.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Card Beautiful Friendship

Every week for the month of October I’ve been giving my team a sketch and color challenge.  They can use them individually or in the same project.

I took a break from Christmas cards today and used the challenges to make a birthday card.

My card starts off with Terracotta Tile cardstock, on which I adhered a Terracotta Tile pattern from the 2019-2021 In-Color Designer Series Paper.

I next took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Terracotta Tile ink and leaves in Mint Macaron.  I then matted this on Mint Macaron cardstock.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment in parts so that it would fit on a long banner in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  In order to stamp the sentiment in parts, I covered the part I wasn’t stamping with washi tape, inked up the stamp, removed the tape, and stamped it down.  I did this until I had the full sentiment.

Enjoy!
