Stampin’ Up! Gift Wrapping & Gift Tag

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop theme is Wrap It up/Gifts. Happy hopping!

I have to say I found this challenging since I make cards 99% of the time – they’re kind of my jam. But I did have a small gift that needed wrapping, so I decided to have fun with this theme.

I wrapped my gift using a pattern from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. I wrapped around a Shaded Spruce Ribbon in a knot.

I used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to cut out a 2″ Real Red tag and a 1″ Whisper White tag. On the smaller tag, I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce ink. At the bottom of the Real Red tag, I adhered a small piece of DSP.

I stamped the tree from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce ink, cutting it out with the Pine Tree Punch. I adhered it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I put a piece of Real Red ribbon through the hole of the tags and then secured it with Gold Thread. With the Gold Thread, I also put two jingle bells and wound it around the Shaded Spruce ribbon to secure it to the gift.

Thanks for checking out my gift wrapping project today! I hope it’s inspired you to make gift wrapping really beautiful and special this year!

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock which I layered with a pattern from the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the ornaments from the Tree Angle Stamp Set along the top of it in Cherry Cobbler ink. I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Tree Angle images to stamp trees in Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and Soft Suede ink on Whisper White, Soft Suede, and Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Bundle Beautiful Day

Am I the the only one who gets to Friday and does a little happy dance?!

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock, although you cant see it because I covered it with a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and first stamped the one leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink (stamping off first for the lighter inside image). While I had this out, I stamped the oak leaf in Pumpkin Pie.

I cut the oak leaves out and solid oak leaves from Pumpkin Pie cardstock using the Autumn Punch Pack. I then matted this on Merry Merlot cardstock.

I used the Stitched Shapes Dies and the Layering Circles Dies to cut out (what I’m calling) a wreath from Merry Merlot cardstock. I adhered the oak leaves over the previously stamped Crumb Cake leaves. I added an Embroidered Ribbon Bow over where the leaves touched.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set in Merry Merlot ink on a very thin piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and adhered it down using Mini Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Color Challenge.

My card starts with Purple Posy cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Non-Christmas Peace & Joy Card

I just love the Peace & Joy Bundle – specifically the layering of the bubble letters!

And for a while I’ve wanted to make a non-Christmas card with it. I’m so excited to share what I put together.

My card starts off with Coastal Cabana cardstock, which I covered with a Coastal Cabana pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the different images from the Peace & Joy Stamp Set on it in Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo ink (stamping off first for the little sparkles). I added a rhinestone over the sparkles and then matted this on Basic Black cardstock.

Next I stamped the “joy” from the Peace & Joy Stamp Set in Coastal Cabana ink and cut it out with the coordinating Joy Dies. I used the same dies to cut out a Basic Black bubble for behind it. I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To make the “joy” work for a non-Christmas card, I pulled in the A Little Lace Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink, but snipped it up so I was just left with two pieces, which I adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!!

Be sure to swing by my store to get this great bundle and all the fun product to go with it so you too can make this project!!

Stampin’ Up! Freezin’ Fun Racoon Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock.

I then took a panel of Poppy Parade cardstock and embossed it using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.

I adhered a pattern from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock. I then used the Freezin’ Friends Dies to cut a snow slope from Whisper White cardstock. Above the slope I stamped the “whoosh” in Memento Black ink on the Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the raccoon from the Freezin’ Fun Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored it in using the Smoky Slate (raccoon), Poppy Parade (scarf and hat), and Soft Suede (sled) Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut it out using the same dies and adhered him down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Freezin’ Fun Stamp Set in Poppy Parade ink, cutting it out with the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Finally, I used the All The Trimmings Embellishments to add a star over the tree and a white pom-pom at the end of the raccoon’s hat.
