Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Thank You Care

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock which I layered with using a pattern from the Country Club Designer Series Paper.

I matted this on Garden Green cardstock and wrapped some Garden Green Twine around it.

Stampin’ Up! Clean and Simple Capture the Good Birthday Card

Ready for today’s card…
Super simple…
Super clean…

One word – Minimal.  As I created it and looked at it I debated on whether to add more, but in the end decided it was all about the camera and to leave it as such.

My card starts off with Balmy Blue cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the camera from the Capture the Good Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I colored it in using Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then matted it on more Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the camera three more times, colored in the lens, and used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out the different sizes of lens to layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the “oh snap” in Memento Black ink on Balmy Blue cardstock and cut it out with the same circles dies and added a Mini Library Clip to it.  Lastly, I stamped the “it’s your day” in Balmy Blue ink under the camera.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Get Well Soon Card

Normally at this point in the week I’d be sharing last week’s Facebook Live Tutorial card.  However, I was under the weather last week and had to cancel.

So I’m sharing with you a regular card today.  However, I am feeling much better and will be on tonight at 7:30 pm EST for my Facebook Live tutorial.  I sure hope you’ll join me!

My card today starts off with Calypso Coral cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used one of the images from the Parcels & Petals Stamp Set and stamped it in Calypso Coral starting at the bottom full strength and then stamped it twice more without re-inking above it.  That gives it a gradient effect.

I then matted this on Petal Pink cardstock.

I then stamped the sentiment from the So Sentimental Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Calypso Coral cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the coordinating Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Underneath it I folded over some Petal Pink ribbon and then I adhered it all down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s CAS(E) this sketch challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies A Little Something Card

Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper has always been a favorite of mine.

It makes card making really easy and let’s face it – the paper is beautiful!!

I put out a question on my Facebook page last weekend as to which combination of patterns to use from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the purple combination was the clear winner!

Today’s card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then took two patterns from the Peaceful Poppies DSP and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I used the Poppy Moments Dies to cut out a flower from Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black cardstock.  Next to it I used the Leaf Punch to cut out a few leaves from Old Olive cardstock.

I added a Rich Razzleberry banner underneath the DSP panel and stamped the sentiment form the Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Enjoy!

Today’s card is part of this week’s new Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  It’s a great sketch with lots of layering, so be sure to play along with us this week!

Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Quick and Simple Card

The Honey Bee Bundle was one that immediately caught my eye in the 2020 January-June Mini Catalog.

The bees are so cute and I think they can cover a wide range of occasions and work great for cards with lots of layers, as well as simple cards, such as today’s.

My card today starts off with Mango Melody cardstock which I cut 4-1/4″x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″.

I cut a 4″x 4″ Whisper White panel and used the honeycomb die from the Detailed Bee Dies and cut through the Whisper White panel and Mango Melody card front.   I stamped the honeycomb from the Honey Bee Stamp Set in Crushed Curry ink and cut it out using the same die, which I adhered on the inside of the card.

I stamped the bee and stamp set in Memento Black.  I colored the bee in using Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut it out using the same dies.  I also used the same dies to cut out a couple of hearts from Basic Black cardstock.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Hello Card

Happy Friday!!!

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend (hopefully filled with some stamping) and a fun Super Bowl Sunday (for those in the US).

My card today starts off Balmy Blue cardstock, on which I adhered a Balmy Blue pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper.

Next I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the raindrops from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set in Balmy Blue ink all around across the front.

In the bottom right hand corner I stamped the sentiment (using the Washi Tape technique so as only to stamp the “hello”) in Poppy Parade ink.

I stamped the boots, umbrella, flowers, and handle in Memento Black ink on a separate Whisper White cardstock.  I colored them in using Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the umbrella and handle out with the coordinating Umbrella Builder Punch and the flowers and boots I fussy cut out.

Lastly under the scalloped rectangle, I tied around a Poppy Parade Bow.

Enjoy!
