Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World – Peace on Earth Christmas Card

Finding inspiration from the catalogs and what Stampin’ Up! makes creating easy.

In the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog I saw how Stampin’ Up! combined the Beautiful World Bundle with the Christmas sentiment Peace on Earth and I thought it was so clever.

I’ve also seen a number of demos water color the globe and wanted to try my hand at it.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I embossed a front panel of the same size using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Watercolor Paper and did a watercolor wash using Pacific Point ink.  I cut it out, as well as a globe from Old Olive cardstock and stand from Basic Black cardstock using the World Map Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and I snipped the ends in a banner.

The Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set will be available beginning Aug 4th.

Lastly I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out a scalloped Old Olive touch for under the sentiment.

Thanks for checking out today’s project!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Poppy Moments Die Cut Thank You Card

Believe it or not – I’ll also be ordering 2020-2021 Annual Catalogs tomorrow.
If you have placed an order through me in the past year, you will automatically be mailed one.

If you do not have a current demonstrator you order through and would like to receive a catalog, please click “contact me” in the menu bar and let me know.

If you would like an upgraded spiral bound catalog – check out details at the bottom of this post!

My card today starts off with Soft Suede cardstock which I embossed using the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used a die from the Poppy Moments Dies to cut out a beautiful floral image.  I matted this on Seaside Spray cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered this down using more dimensionals onto the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Free As  A Bird Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Seaside Spray cardstock.  I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out.  I positioned the rectangle die twice in order to get it to fit snugger on the sentiment.

To see how I did this technique, you can check out this video of a previous card that I did the same thing for.

Finally, I added a piece of Seaside Spray Linen Ribbon to the sentiment and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Welcome Card

The retired list has been announced and posted under the Last-Chance Product title on the website.

I am very sad to see many things go, but I think the #1 item I’ll miss is the Honey Bee Bundle and #2 item is the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.

I created my card today a few weeks ago and ironically it uses both these items.

My card starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock.  I then embossed the card front with the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.

I stamped the bee and the flower above and below it in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the bee in using the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker and the flower using the Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Marker.

I cut this out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and Heat Set it.  Underneath it I wound some Mint Macaron and Polka Dot ribbon.  I also added a few Pearls around the sentiment.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Neutral Color Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge this week.  Happy hopping!

I saw a card that Chloe Evans made the other day.  I was so inspired by the colors and how she used the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set that I decided to CASE (copy and selectively edit) it for my card today.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then stamped the large flower from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set on it in Crumb Cake ink.

I then stamped the same flower in Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker to add a highlight around the flowers.  I matted this on Basic Black cardstock and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out.

I stamped the single flower and leaf in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, highlighted it with the Light Crumb Cake Blends Marker, and fussy cut it out.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Dockside Dies Just a Hello Card

Hello everyone!

For today’s card I decided to mix the Dockside Dies, specifically the oar die, with the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.

Here’s the thing, I’ve never been sailing.  I’m not sure if you need an oar, but figured they both were used with water and it would work.

My card starts off with Seaside Spray cardstock, although you can’t see it.  I then adhered a pattern from the Come Sail Away DSP on the front.

I used the Dockside Dies to cut out a bunch of oars from Night of Navy and Seaside Spray cardstock.  I lined these across a panel of Whisper White cardstock and then matted it on Night of Navy cardstock.

Tip:  Stampin’ Up!’s Grid Paper is a great tool!

If you’re adhering various images down and you want to make sure they’re all straight,  line your paper up to the grid and then use Washi Tape to mark a straight line.  Make sure the Washi Tape goes from one straight line to the other…

… and then just adhere your images along the line!

I then stamped the sentiment from the A Little Lace Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Night of Navy cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Clean and Simple Just a Note

Why reinvent the wheel?
If there’s a card you’ve made that you love, CASE (copy and selectively edit) it.

That’s what I did for today.  My original card is this one here.  I kept today’s card very similar to it, but turned it around and used a different sentiment.

…and because this card comes together so quick, I decided to make a few of them and mail them out to encourage friends and family.

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.

I then took a panel of Thick Whisper White cardstock and stamped the poppies from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set in Stazon black ink.

I used a semi dry Aqua Painter to add Real Red ink to the poppies.  I wrapped around some Real Red ribbon and matted it on Basic Black cardstock.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set in Real Red ink in the corner.

Enjoy!

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Purple Posy cardstock.

I then took two patterns from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, matted them on Whisper White cardstock, and offset them over one another.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flourshing Phrases Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I cut it out using the Painted Labels Dies.

I used the same dies to cut out an Old Olive scalloped detail for under the sentiment and added a few Old Olive rhinestones.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Card

I sure hope you all are well and holding up!!

I hope this week’s cards bring a smile to your face.

My card today starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the one image from the Verdant Garden Stamp Set on it in Soft Sea Foam ink (stamped off first for a lighter shade).  It’s hard to notice, but I matted this on Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I then used the Stitched Shapes Dies and cut out a circle from the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper.  I used a smaller circle and cut out two circles from Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I used the same die that I used to cut out the DSP and cut into each of the Mossy Meadow circles.  I then embossed these using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I adhered the circles down using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Beauty Abounds Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
