I decided to use all the 2015-2017 In Color Wash Tapes for today’s card share.

I took the five colors of Washi Tape and made a pattern over cardstock and then layered it over Watermelon Wonder.

For the sentiment, I used the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set and heat embossed it in white over Cucumber Crush cardstock.  I then layered it over a Tea Lace Doily.

Teacher’s Card

I know, I know it’s only April and I’m doing a teacher thank you.  One, I think it’s great to send a thank you in the teacher during the year and not just holidays, birthday, and end of the year.  Second, when the idea comes, you have to run with it and then it’s done and you’re not worrying about it in June.

For my card, I started with a Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I layered it with a pattern from the Schoolhouse DSP (how fitting, right?).

Double Pocket Card

This was a card that I prepared for my Stamp Club in April and it was so much fun to make!  It’s a double pocket card!

For the card I used the Naturals Cardstock as my base.  I wanted the fruit to pop, but I also wanted something with a little texture.

I used the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set to make a lime (Garden Green), grapefruit (Calypso Coral), and lemon (Daffodil Delight) on the front and added the sentiment, “You’re Just the Sweetest” in Calypso Coral.  I used the Scallop Punch to give a little detail along the fold line with a pattern from the Schoolhouse DSP.

In the front pocket I included a marker using the Ornate Tag Topper and Apple of my Eye Stamp Set to make cherries (Real Red and Garden Green).

For the inside of the card I added an orange (Tangelo Twist) and some leaves (Garden Green) and the sentiment, “Thank You.”

On the inside of the pocket I cut a pattern from the English Gardens DSP and included a packet of lemonade as a thank you.

Cherry on Top DSP

For today’s card share I wanted to show a few fun and bright patterns from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper.

My base color was Thick Whisper White and I layered it with Cucumber Crush. Both the top and bottom patterns come from the Cherry on Top DSP and were layered over the Cucumber Crush.

 I covered the seam between the two patterns with some Pool Party ribbon.

The sentiment came from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set and is stamped in Watermelon Wonder and layered over the same.  I added some Crushed Curry baker’s twine above the sentiment and some small hearts to add some extra lovin’.

CASEing Apple of My Eye

I got my inspiration for today’s card from Linda’s blog.  Although I’ve never met her, I really enjoyed her card.  Here it is:

Did you know there’s an actual term for this – CASEing a card – Copy And Share Everything.

I had used the cut up orange/lime before from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set, but was looking for some inspiration on the apple stamp and came across hers.  I love her apples and layering of the one on top of the other.

Here’s what I created:

Apple of my Eye - Stamp It Up With JaimieI started with a base of Mossy Meadow and then used the English Garden DSP both vertically and horizontally.  My apples are from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set are in Real Red and were fussy cut.

Happy Monday!

Today’s card is bringing you a bit of spring with the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set.

My base color is Hello HONEY (perfect for the bees, right?) and then layered with Whisper White.  My orange (Hello Honey) and sentiment (Old Olive) are from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set and the pattern behind the orange is from the English Garden DSP, as are the bees which were fussy cut.  I tucked behind the orange a bit of Mossy Meadow ribbon as well.

Apple of my Eye - Stamp It Up With Jaimie(Hard to tell in the picture, but) I used the Polka Dot Embossing Folder to a little texture to the bottom half of the card.
