Stampin’ Up! Birds & Branches Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop theme is Birds or Animals.  Happy hopping!

Today’s card starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock.

Using the Birds & More Dies, I cut a circle out of one of the patterns from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the detailed parts of the birds from the Birds & Branches Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink and the full bird image over it in So Saffron ink.  I used the same dies to cut them out and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Lastly, I tied a bow next to the birds.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Birds & Branches Friend Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Purple Posy cardstock which I embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

I then matted a pattern from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper on Crumb Cake cardstock and wound a Linen Thread bow around it.

I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut out a label.  I then stamped the branch from the Birds & Branches Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink and the flowers in Highland Heather ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink and adhered a Purple Posy Enamel butterfly next to it.

I stamped the smaller image of the bird and feet in Gray Granite ink.  I stamped the larger image of the bird in Gray Granite ink also, just stamping off first for a lighter shade.  I cut them out using the Birds & More Dies.

To make the eye darker, I just used a Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Simple Square Birds & Branches Card

Sure hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Mine was well spent and I even got some stamping time in to create this week’s projects for you.

First up is a square card using the Birds & Branches Bundle…

My card today starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock which I cut to 4-1/4 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and embossed it using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and then matted it on another panel of Whisper White cardstock.

I then cut out a branch from Just Jade cardstock and two birds from Petal Pink cardstock using the Birds & More Dies.  I adhered the birds down using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Underneath the Whisper White panel, I adhered a small piece of Just Jade ribbon.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in Just Jade ink, adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Lastly, I added a few Pearls around.

Thanks for checking out today’s project!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Birds & Branches Baby Card Video Tutorial

Maybe I have summer brain already or maybe I was so stinking excited for the new Annual Catalog, but today’s card should’ve been posted Wednesday.

It was last week’s Facebook live tutorial.  So please know, I will not be going live tonight.  This is simply the card from last week’s live video.

For today’s card, I used the sweet new Birds & Branches Bundle.  The lovely Lace Embossing Folder carried over and I thought it worked perfectly with the design.

In the video, I switched up the sentiment and made just a general “hello” card and I think either works nicely.  If you kept it as a baby card, you could easily swap out the Petal Pink for Balmy Blue for a boy.

If you ever miss any of my tutorials, you can check them out on my YouTube channel.

To see how I made today’s card, check out the video below:
