Stampin’ Up! Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card

So I am super-duper over the moon excited to announce that I’ve been picked to be part of the design team for the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.

The challenge is every other week and alternates sketch, color, and inspiration challenges.  I am so excited!!

Don’t forget to play along with this week’s sketch challenge!

Ready for this?!  My card takes all of 5 minutes to make.  Why? Because the patterned paper all comes from the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack!

Add some cardstock and a nice sentiment and it comes together so quickly!

I started with a piece of Powder Pink cardstock.  I then adhered over it the flower pattern from the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack.

I took another pattern from the card pack and wrapped a Linen Thread ribbon around it and then adhered it to the card front.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Cake Soirre Stamp Set (covering the little line with washi tape) in Versamark Ink on Rich Razzleberry cardstock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it.  I adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Cake Soiree “For You”

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

I decided to use the Cake Soiree Bundle as it is very feminine and sweet.

I started my card with Berry Burst cardstock.  I took a smaller panel of Berry Burst cardstock and embossed it using the Softly Falling embossing folder, matted it on Whisper White cardstock, and adhered it to the card front.

I cut out the tag from Silver Foil using a die from the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies (included in the Cake Soiree Bundle).  I cut out two flowers using the same dies from Berry Burst and Flirty Flamingo cardstock.  I adhered the Berry Burst flower over the silver tag first and then glued in the pieces from the Flirty Flamingo rose inside it.  I added some Berry Burst Ribbon to the top of the tag and tied a Silver Baker’s Twine bow around it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cake Soiree Stamp Set on a 1′ banner of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered this behind the tag and adhered everything to the card front.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Cake Soiree Celebrate Card

I am having so much fun playing with all the new Occasions Catalog goodies.

The bundle used today, the Cake Soiree Bundle, was one I received for free from my upline.  We really do have the best team.  Everyone’s so supportive and encouraging and along the way we get some prize patrol.  Talk to me, we’d love to have you join and now’s the best time!!

My card today starts off with Marina Mist cardstock.  I then matted a piece of Whisper White cardstock on some Powder Pink cardstock.

I then cut out three squares using the Layering Squares Framelits, one in Silver Foil and two in Powder Pink.  Before adhering down the bigger silver square, I tucked behind it some Whisper White Organza Ribbon…and let me tell you – this ribbon is gorgeous!

I then used the Cake Soiree Bundle (stamp set and coordinating framelits) to stamp and cut out a cake (Powder Pink ink) and various flowers and leaves (Rich Razzleberry, Berry Burst, Marina Mist, Old Olive inks).

I stamped the sentiment from the Cake Soiree Stamp Set in Versamark ink on the cake, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder, and heat embossed it using the heat tool.  You’ll notice I’m missing the little line that comes down from the sentiment.  I covered it with some Washi Tape so it wouldn’t get inked up.  I added a few Silver Enamel dots in the corner to finish it off.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was (loosely) inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.
