Stampin’ Up! Mother’s Day Gift Giving Idea

Mother’s Day is coming up and with it a great opportunity to say thank you to mom!

Showing moms gratitude on Mother’s Day goes beyond even our biological mom. It can be a step-mom, grandma, daughter who is a mom, a mother figure, or a good friend who is a mom.

All moms deserve to be acknowledged, praised, and thanked.

I have a great gift idea for that special mom in your life – a Box of Cards!!

Moms love to mail cards and a gift box full of five beautifully handmade cards with coordinating envelopes will be just the thing she wants for Mother’s Day.

The acetate box is decorated itself making it easy for Mom to store the cards and easy for you to gift them.

Included in the five cards is a thank you card, congratulations card, birthday card, get well soon card, and a general greetings card.

Each card comes with a specially coordinating envelope.

The cost is $20, including shipping.

You can order your Gift of Cards here. Please know that there are a limited number available so don’t wait!

If you’re looking to give the Gift of Cards in time for Mother’s Day, please order by April 30th!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Thank You Card

I have a great thank you card for you today using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.

It fit this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop perfectly!

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

Good news: The fun In Good Taste DSP will be carrying over into the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog!!!

Next, I stamped the sunflower and leaf images from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. I used the new…and gorgeous Soft Succulent (leaves), Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie, and Crumb Cake (flower) Stampin’ Blends to color it in. I cut it out using the Sunflower Dies.

Stampin Up Celebrate Sunflowers thank you card

I used the same dies to cut out a few sprigs from Crumb Cake cardstock. I adhered the sunflower down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set in one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors, Soft Succulent, and adhered a small panel of Soft Succulent cardstock underneath.

The new Annual Catalog comes with a new bundle of twine called the Baker’s Twine Essentials Combo Pack, which includes Crumb Cake twine, which I wound around under the sentiment. Lastly, I added a few Gilded Gems.

SNEAK PEEK Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Thank You Card

Happy Wednesday!!!

All this week we’re talking about gratitude. I hope it’s inspired you to view your days through a lens of gratitude.

Some days are easier than others, let’s face it. Friday we might have snow here in Upstate NY, while today is warm and sunny.

Some days you can’t seem to catch a break, and others it’s like you’re walking on sunshine. (I bet you just started singing the song.)

Whatever your day seems to bring you, let’s be challenged to approach it with gratitude!

Now on to today’s card…

New catalogs are always exciting and today I’m sharing a beautiful card I made last week using a new bundle in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. This bundle has beautiful floral images and two-step stamping to stamp the inside of the florals.

My favorite part of the card is the gold bee and the card front cut on an edge using the Basic Borders Dies.

I’ll be back tonight with another card. I’ll be using another suite from the new Annual Catalog, the Pansy Patch Bundle. Join me at 7:30 EST over on my Facebook page.

If you ever miss a video, you can check then out on my YouTube Channel.

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Mother’s Day Card

This week we’re talking about showing gratitude and for today I have a Mother’s Day card using the Hydrangea Haven Bundle.

The card may not come straight out and say thank you, but I think you’d agree that Mother’s Day is like 24 hours dedicated to saying thank you to mom.

Now, let’s be clear, I say mom, but it can be a mother figure, step-mom, grandma, or a friend who happens to be a mom.

Let’s take some time today to think about what mom in your life could use a thank you – you know, that mom who gives and gives and deserves some acknowledgment and gratitude for all they do!

Now on to the card details…

My card starts off with Highland Heather cardstock, on which I adhered two patterns from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper. I covered the seam with a piece of Gorgeous Grape ribbon.

Stampin Up hydrangea haven

Next, I took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the “splotch” from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set (from the top down) in Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Pear Pizzazz, and Old Olive ink. Over that I stamped the hydrangea image in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape ink and matted it, as well as the other Basic White panel, on Gorgeous Grape cardstock.

I then added a couple of Pastel Pearls and a Rhinestone around the sentiment and added a Gorgeous Grape bow.

*Tip: I always tie the bow separate and just adhere it over. Firstly because I always do a fork bow and secondly because it’s just easier!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Card

It’s Friday.
We made it ya’ll!!!

Accomplishment. It’s one of my words, like I live and breathe it. I love the feeling of accomplishment and when we get to Friday, I always take a deep sighhhh…accomplishment!

So here’s to an awesome weekend ahead after a week full of accomplishment!

Stampin Up beautiful friendship card

My card today is one I shared last week over on YouTube. Did you know I do a weekly YouTube live tutorial every Tuesday at 1:00 EST? Well, now you know to put it on your calendar, set an alarm, and head over to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss any of the fun!!!

My card is a simple one with lots of fun layering. It starts off with Pool Party cardstock. I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the Birch image over it in Sahara Sand ink and then matted it on a panel of Bumblebee cardstock.

Stampin Up beautiful friendship card

I took another panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the images from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, and Bumblebee ink. I then matted this on Pear Pizzazz cardstock and I wrapped around some Bumblebee ribbon in a knot.

…do these colors look familiar?? I used them earlier this week in this card. No sense in reinventing the wheel if you like the way something looks – use the same colors, use the same design!

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Pool Party cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Hippo & Friends Dies.

Lastly, I added a few Opal Rounds next to the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Hello Card

The Many Messages has such a great variety of sentiments for just about every occasion.

But don’t overlook the amazing Messages Dies!

And it gets even better, there’s a sister stamp to the Many Messages Stamp in the new Annual Catalog that uses the same dies!

My card starts off with Basic Black cardstock and then I wrapped some black and white twine around the left corner into a bow.

I then matted a panel of Pool Party cardstock on a panel of Basic White cardstock.

I took a pattern from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and cut out a bunch of labels using the Messages Dies. I adhered the labels down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then inked up the “hello” sentiment in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. and cut it out using the same dies.
