Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals

How’s everyone’s Christmas cards coming along?

I did a count yesterday and am still a few short but nearly have everyone covered.

My card starts off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock, on which I adhered a pattern from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the leaves in Sahara Sand ink, stamping off first for the lighter shade. I then matted this on a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock.

I used the Brushed Metallic Cardstock and Poinsettia Dies to create a poinsettia. I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz ink, which I adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! October Paper Pumpkin Kit

Want really fun and stress free crafting?
Want something that you can easily do with the kids?
Want something exciting to look forward to in the mail?

Cue Paper Pumpkin!

It’s a monthly paper crafting subscription!

This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit came in a beautiful festive box with instructions on how to make the cards, everything needed to make the cards, and a set of stamps which can be used for projects to come!

Each month is unique and different, and always a surprise. The October kit made 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs. There was minimal stamping and they came together really quickly.

The kit also came with beautifully coordinated envelopes.

I love making the Paper Pumpkin projects with my kids. We turned on Christmas music (had to) and got to town.

One of my kids would stamp while the other would glue down.

I was in charge of the ribbon and another one of my kids put everything together. It was a great time had by all and we look forward to sending the Christmas cards to family and friends.

Although we don’t know the exact look of each month’s project kit, we do get a teaser and an idea of what we’re making (home decor, cards, gift giving, etc).

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription that comes right to your mailbox. If you would like to skip a month, you can always do that!

The November 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit will make 15 gift card carriers with coordinating envelopes.

Coordinating colors: Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce, Blushing Bride, and Whisper White.

You can check out a sneak peek video below for the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin.

You have through November 10th to subscribe to receive the November kit.

You can head over here for more details and to reserve yours!

Stampin’ Up! Freezin’ Fun Racoon Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock.

I then took a panel of Poppy Parade cardstock and embossed it using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.

I adhered a pattern from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock. I then used the Freezin’ Friends Dies to cut a snow slope from Whisper White cardstock. Above the slope I stamped the “whoosh” in Memento Black ink on the Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the raccoon from the Freezin’ Fun Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored it in using the Smoky Slate (raccoon), Poppy Parade (scarf and hat), and Soft Suede (sled) Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut it out using the same dies and adhered him down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Freezin’ Fun Stamp Set in Poppy Parade ink, cutting it out with the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Finally, I used the All The Trimmings Embellishments to add a star over the tree and a white pom-pom at the end of the raccoon’s hat.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Christmas Card

I LOVE white on white, monochromatic cards….
especially for Christmas cards.

For today’s card, I kept it really clean and used Whisper White, Very Vanilla, and Gold.

My card starts off with Very Vanilla cardstock.

I stamped the images from the Peaceful Nativity Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out with the coordinating Nativity Dies and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the same Nativity Dies and Gold Foil to cut out the palm trees and star. I stamped the sentiment from the For Unto Us Stamp Set in Versamark ink in the corner, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I then matted this on Gold Foil and adhered it to the card front.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight Technique with Joyful Holly Stamp

Who’s excited it’s Friday!

My card starts with Real Red cardstock, which I embossed using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. I first stamped the holly image from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out a piece of it. I used Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler ink pads to color in just the piece that was cut out and matted it on a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out a scalloped piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock to go to the left of cut out piece and adhered it all down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Shaded Spruce cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out.

I used this technique here to customize the size of the die to the sentiment. (You can skip ahead to 17 mins to see how I did it.)

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones around.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
