Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Christmas

On December 2nd, I’ll be hosting an Open House from 1:00 to 3:30.  I will have all my stamps and die cuts out for you to use for your projects.

You bring any necessary paper and adhesive.

If you wish to create pre-designed cards, I will have available the Watercolor Christmas stamp set and any necessary inks to put together the Watercolor Christmas card kit.

The kit makes 20 cards and includes any necessary embellishments and envelopes.  To purchase your kit, click here.

My card today uses the Watercolor Christmas Stamp Set.

I start out with Emerald Envy cardstock and layered over it a panel of Shimmery Whisper White cardstock.  At the bottom I stamped the sentiment from the At Home With You stamp set in Real Red ink.

I stamped the three Christmas tree images from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set in Archival Black ink on Shimmery Whisper White cardstock.  I then colored them in using an Aqua Painter and Emerald Envy, Real Red, and Flirty Flamingo ink.

I used the Layering Squares Framelits to cut each tree out and then matted them on a Basic Black scalloped square and then on the coordinating cardstock color square.  I added a Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine bow at the bottom.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Quilted Christmas Card

Happy Wednesday!!  Can you believe we’re almost a week away from Thanksgiving?!

I love it…it’s my favorite holiday.  With it comes a lot of sales and special promotions that Stampin’ Up! is offering, as well as deals I personally am offering.

Have you signed up for my newsletter?  My newsletter goes out every Tuesday evening and fills you in on all the newest information and promotions that Stampin’ Up! has.  I also let you know of any classes I’m running, as well as any special deals I have going on.

My customers got some BIG news yesterday!  I’ll be posting it here on my blog later this week.   To sign up for my newsletter, click on the button below.

My card today is a clean, simple Christmas card.  I start off with Garden Green cardstock.  I then took a smaller panel of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to adhere over that.  I took a smaller panel of a pattern from the Quilted Christmas DSP and layered it on the bottom part of the Lemon Lime cardstock.

Next I took the pattern from the Quilted Christmas that had all the triangle patterns and fussy cut out five of them.  I then cut 1/8″ small strips of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to make “tree trunks” for the triangles.  I adhered them around the top part of the card.

I then tied around a Linen Thread bow.  I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Care stamp set in Garden Green ink on a Soft Sky banner.

Enjoy!

My card today was inspired by this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas Blog Hop

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas.  Enjoy hopping around to see what everyone created!

My card today starts with Real Red cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the Christmas Around the World DSP and used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut out a circle.  I then took a Basic Black panel and traced where the circle would be and cut out a circle from it.

I used the Hometown Greetings Edgelits and cut out the scene from Gold cardstock.  I first adhered a panel of Garden Green cardstock on the card front where I knew the circle would cover.  Then I adhered the gold scene over it.  I adhered the DSP with the circle over the scene using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I pulled the little steeple out to poke out of the circle.

I wrapped around some Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon and tied a bow.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Night in Bethlehem stamp set in Garden Green ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut the ends using the Everyday Label Punch.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I took one panel from the Be Merry DSP and cut it down to 5′ x 3.3/4′ and trimmed off bottom left corner.  I then took another pattern and matched the cut out.  I adhered the DSP to a slightly larger panel of Whisper White cardstock and then I covered the seam with some Garden Green ribbon.

Next I cut out a bunch of boughs and other details using the Pretty Pines Thinlits and Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Gold cardstock.  I cut out a few gold pinecones and adhered the one using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I folded around the Garden Green ribbon a few times and tied a Linen Thread bow holding it together.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Whisper White cardstock, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.

My card today starts off with Soft Sky cardstock.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and a smaller panel of Soft Sky cardstock and embossed them using the Softly Falling embossing folder.  Before adhering layering them, I put a piece of Pool Party Ribbon between them.

Next I stamped the snowman and reindeer from the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set/Bundle in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored them in using the new and gorgeous Stampin Blend markers.  I used Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive.  I cut them out with the Seasonal Tags Framelits.

Using the same Seasonal Tag Framelits, I cut out a few snowflakes from Whisper White cardstock and adhered them around the snowman and reindeer.  I then stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink and manipulated the cardstock to “roll.”  I put a dimensional under the words and at the end of the banner and adhered it down.

Stampin’ Up! Year of Cheer Christmas

Is everyone ready for the weekend??

I am still away on my scrapbook/crafting weekend and it’s amazing.  I look forward to it each year.  I literally plant myself in the chair and craft.  Last year I made 86 scrapbook pages.  We’ll see if I can get there this year.

I make a scrapbook for each of my three kids and when I return they come running to the door asking to see what I’ve created.  Check out my Facebook page as I’ll be posting pictures of my layouts.

My card today is one that features lots of metallics and sparkle!

It starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I wanted to create a brick background but don’t have the embossing folder.  Instead I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used my Simply Scored board to create my brick effect.  I matted this on a bit of Champagne Foil Sheet and adhered it to the card front.

Next I cut out three stockings from different patterns of the Year of Cheer DSP using the Christmas Stockings Thinlits.  I added metallic touches on the stockings and bows using Silver, Champagne, and Gold Foil Sheets.  I cut out a very thin strip of Champagne Foil Sheet to “hang” them from.

I used the Washi Tape technique to stamp my sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp se on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I covered the “Christmas” with a piece of Washi Tape, stamped the “Merry” in Versamark ink, took the tape off, and stamped it.  I then covered the “Merry” with a piece of Washi Tape, stamped the “Christmas,” took the tape off, and stamped it on the cardstock.  I sprinkled the words in Gold Embossing Powder and heat embossed them.

I cut out a gold snowflake using one of the stockings from the Christmas Stockings Thinlits and added some Gold Thread behind it and a Gold Enamel Dot over it.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the snowflake with Mini Dimensionals!

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas

This week’s challenge is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Old Olive cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used one of the thinlits from the Card Front Builder dies to cut out the moon and stars on top.  I mounted this on Basic Black cardstock and adhered it to the card front.

Next I cut out a 2′ pattern from the Merry Little Christmas DSP and used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to cut off the end.  I looped through it some Burlap Ribbon and tied an Old Olive bow around it.

Lastly I cut out an Old Olive and Basic Black tree using the same framelits, as well as Basic Black deer.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhered it over the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! At Home With You – Stampin Blends

I am so excited for today’s card…

I actually created this card to go with yesterday’s sketch challenge, but then realized I completely left off the banner detail.

So needless to say, it became today’s post.

But what I love about this card so much are the Stampin Blends markers!!!

I am by no means a coloring expect … In fact, I try to avoid watercoloring.  Hence why I haven’t used this stamp set much.

But the Stampin Blends make it soooooo much easier – so user friendly – and very forgiving!  Stampin’ Blends are available to order November 1st!!!

My card starts with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then took a panel from the Merry Little Christmas, matted it on Basic Black cardstock, and adhered it on an angle to the card front.

I stamped the images from the At Home With You stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored in the images using Stampin Blends markers.  I used Crumb Cake, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler markers.  For the welcome mat, I used a Basic Black write marker to color the outside and then stamped it on Whisper White cardstock.  I then inked up the Merry Christmas sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it inside the mat.

I cut out all the images using the coordinating At Home Framelits.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Basic Black cardstock and then arranged the images around the Whisper White cardstock.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Sketch

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

I started creating a beautiful card for this challenge using the new Stampin Blends markers and then realized I missed some key details from the sketch.

Needless to say, that card will be tomorrow’s blog post, so be sure to swing by tomorrow to see it!

For today my card starts with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then took two panels from the Quilted Christmas DSP and matted them on some Whisper White cardstock.

I cut the end of a strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock in a banner.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out using the Pretty Label Punch.

I stamped the holly berries from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink and the leaves in Garden Green ink and cut them out using the Christmas Stockings thinlits.
