Fabulous Flamingo Stampin’ Up!

My card today was inspired by three challenges this week, Hand Stamped Sentiments, Paper Craft Crew, and Stamp, Ink, Paper.

My card starts off with Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set to create my scene.  I stamped the water image in Soft Sky ink and Tempting Turquoise ink on the bottom and stamped the palm leaf image in Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist ink at the top.

Next I took a 3″x3″ square of Tempting Turquoise cardstock and embossed it using the Seaside embossing folder.

I stamped the solid flamingo image in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut it out using Paper Snips.  Then I stamped the sentiment in Tempting Turquoise ink on Soft Sky cardstock.

Enjoy!

Yesterday I finally (after having set the goal months ago to do so) did my first Facebook Live Video making this card.

You can check it out here on my Facebook page.  Of course something was going to go wrong because it was my first one and I was, well, live, so just be aware that the camera is upside down for the first 5 minutes.  (Face in hand.)  Oh well.

In my video I switched around the sentiment to “Thanks.”  Here are the two cards below.

*4 DAYS LEFT LEFT * CHRISTMAS IN JULY SIGN ON BONUS!

Stampin’ Up! is offering a great sign on bonus during July.  Not only do you receive the usual $125 worth of product for just $99, but you receive a FREE Essentials Gift Pack.  This includes paper snips, SNAIL permanent adhesive, grid paper, 2 D blocks, and a bone folder worth an additional $52!

In addition Stampin’ Up! will give you  for FREE the brand new Carols of Christmas stamp set from the Holiday’s Catalog.

The best part about being a Stampin’ Up! demo is there is no pressure.  Try it out and if its not for you – you can drop at any time with no penalty.  Don’t want to make it into a business, they actually encourage customers to join as hobby demonstrators and use the discount (20-25%) just for themselves.

Please e-mail me at stampinjaimie@gmail.com with any questions!

Oh So Eclectic & Embossing Paste

This weeks Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Bermuda Bay cardstock.  I’ve been wanting to try the Embossing Paste for a while now and finally got the goodies to do so!!  I took a panel of Lemon Lime cardstock and placed one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks over it.  Using one of the Palette Knives I smeared the embossing paste over it, pulled it off, and then let it dry.  This was my first time using the embossing paste and I’m in love!!!

I then used the Oh So Eclectic Bundle to create my focal point.  I stamped in Versmark the various images on a variety of cardstock colors, sprinkled them with White Embossing Powder, and heat embossed them.  I cut them out with the coordinating Eclectic Layers from the bundle.  I adhered them over the embossing paste (now dry).

I stamped the sentiment from the Special Celebrations in Versamark ink on Berry Burst cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.  I layered underneath it a strip of Bermuda Bay ribbon and added a few enamel circles.

Enjoy!

My card today was inspired by the color challenge this week at Fab Friday.

Feminine Card Blog Hop

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “feminine” cards.  I hope you enjoy hopping around to see what everyone created.

For my card today, I start with Pink Pirouette cardstock.  I took a pattern from the Falling in Love DSP and matted it on Very Vanilla cardstock which I adhered to the card.

I took one of the beautiful thinlits from the So Detailed Thinlits and cut it out using Pink Pirouette cardstock.  I trimmed down the ends before adhering it.  I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand from the So In Love stamp set on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Behind it I added a banner of Silver Foil and some wound up Silver Thread.  I adhered it using Stampin Dimensionals.

I added a few rhinestones and Pink Pirouette enamel circles on the card.

Enjoy!

My card today was inspired by the challenge at Sunday Stamps this week.

Soar Above the Rest – Congrats

My card today was inspired by challenges at Sunday Stamps and The Paper Players Challenge.

I used So Saffron cardstock as the base to my card today.  I used a pattern from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP matted on Bermuda Bay cardstock to layer over the base.

I stamped three balloons from the Lift Me Up Bundle each on its coordinating paper (i.e., Calypso Coral ink on Calypso Coral cardstock) and cut them out with the framelits from the bundle. I adhered the larger balloon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment using Calypso Coral ink on So Saffron cardstock and adhered a smaller Calypso Coral banner behind it and adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestones here and there on the card to finish it off.

Simple Congrats

I love the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set because although it has great stamps for fun birthday cards, it also has some really sweet, simple stamps like these sweet clouds for other occasions.

For today’s card, I went simple and low key.  I started with a background of Crumb Cake and layered it with Whisper White.  I then took the Clouds from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and stamped off Pool Party, first once (for the darker clouds) and then twice (for the lighter clouds).

Congratulations - Stamp It Up With Jaimie - Stampin UpThe sentiment “Congratulations” is also from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and is stamped in Night of Navy.  To add a pop of color, I added a strip of Night of Navy Ribbon from behind and a little hint of a Paper Doily.

Enjoy!

Congratulations - Stamp It Up With Jaimie
