Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be Anniversary Card

Today’s card is the one I made on my Facebook Live video last week.

Please note that I will not be doing a live video today as I am working this morning and my son has a school concert tonight.

This card features brand new product from the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog – the Meant To Be Bundle!  This is a great set, but the star of the show for sure are the framelits!!

My anniversary is coming up in February, so I decided to make an anniversary card for my hubby.

If you ever miss a Facebook live, you can check them out on my YouTube channel.  Be sure to come back next week for another Facebook Live Tutorial.

To see how I made today’s card, check out the video below:

Stampin’ Up! Alpine Adventure – Thinking of You

Hello friends.

I am in full Christmas mode over here – shopping, baking, and trying to get in the overall spirit.

And yes, still making Christmas cards.  Believe it or not, I’m still a bunch short.

My card today starts off with Real Red cardstock.  I took a Stamping Sponge and used Soft Suede ink to add some dark color to the edge of the card front.

I then took a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock and embossed it using the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder.  I took the same sponge and added Soft Suede color to the outside of this as well and then matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I used the Alpine Adventure Stamp Set and stamped the snow shoes in Soft Suede ink.  I used the masking technique to give the impression that one was over the other. I then fussy cut this out and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set in Real Red ink, cut out two snowflakes using the Alpine Sports Thinlits, and added a Real Red bow over the snowshoes.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Today’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Mossy Meadow cardstock.

On the Whisper White, I used the Christmas Pines stamp set and stamped the pines in Mossy Meadow ink.  I also cut out a bunch of pines from Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cardstock using the Pretty Pines Thinlits.

Next I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I then matted this on Gold Foil and wound behind it some Gold Thread.

I used the Pretty Pines Thinlits to create a pinecone using Early Espresso cardstock and Gold Foil.  I tied a Linen Thread bow over the top of it.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card

I was stumped with today’s card.

I didn’t know whether I should use Cherry Cobbler or Real Red cardstock, so I took to my Facebook page for help.

Although there were a few Real Red fans, Cherry Cobbler won hands down.

So my card today starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I embossed using the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the Beautiful Baubles Stamp Set to stamp the ornaments all along it.  I stamped them in Versamark ink, sprinkled them with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I then matted this on Gold Foil.

I wrapped around the panel some Cherry Cobbler Cotton Thread.  I tied a bow and attached a piece of Mini Sequin Trim.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Gold Foil, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! *NEW Bloom By Bloom Card

I don’t know about you, but life seems to be busy.

And many times when I tell people I’m a paper crafter their response is – Oh, I would love to do that, but I don’t have the time.

But no one ever said paper crafting has to be complicated or even time consuming.  So today I’m going back to the basics – stamps, paper, embellishments – for a super quick and easy card.

My card starts off with Highland Heather cardstock.  I took two panels of Whisper White cardstock, one to be matted behind the other.

On the one Whisper White panel I stamped the images from the new (available Jan 3, 2019) Bloom To Bloom Stamp Set to create my flowers.  The stems were stamped in Old Olive ink and the blooms in Highland Heather ink.

I used the masking technique to give the illusion that one flower was behind the other.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Highland Heather.  I wound around some Linen Thread for a bow and added a few pearls around the flowers.

Enjoy!

If you love the Bloom to Bloom Stamp Set and would love to get your hands on it before January 3, 2019, consider becoming a demonstrator.  You can add it to your Starter Kit as part of your pre-order!
