Stampin’ Up! So Santa Card

Happy Monday everyone!!

I can’t wait to finally show you “in person” some lovely new goodies!

My card today starts off with Call Me Clover cardstock which I embossed using the Swirls & Curls embossing folder.

Next I stamped the holly from the So Santa Stamp Set on the top and bottom of a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Memento Black Ink.  I then stamped Santa in between.  I colored everything in using Call Me Clover, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Ivory, and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I matted this on Poppy Parade cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Poppy Parade cardstock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it.

Happy Friday everyone!

Any fun plans this weekend?!

I’m in Orlando right now for Stampin’ Up!s OnStage with a whole slew of other demonstrators.  Head over to my Facebook page to check out pictures of our travels and some sneak peeks of things to come.

For today’s card I started  off with Night of Navy cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock, embossed it using the Subtle Embossing Folder, and matted it on Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

Next I adhered down a pattern from the Twinkle, Twinkle Designer Series Paper.

Next I used the Foliage Frames Thinlits to cut out a floral frame from Night of Navy cardstock.  I cut out a few different leaves using the same thinlits and Silver Foil, Petal Pink, and Soft Sea Foam cardstock to adhere behind the Night of Navy frame.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Petal Pink ink and cut it out using the Layering Circles Framelits.

Stampin’ Up! Alpine Adventure – Happy Inkin’ Thursday

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I layered with a pattern from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper.  Around it I wound some Very Vanilla Cotton Twine.

Next I cut out a Very Vanilla oval using the Layering Oval Framelits.  I stamped the sentiment from the Alpine Adventure Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.  When I put the stamp on the block, I sort of maneuvered it so it would wrap around.  The photopolymer stamps are great for this!

Over the twine I adhered another pattern from the Festive Farmhouse DSP in a banner.

Next I cut out a sleigh from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper using the coordinating Alpine Sports Thinlits.

Next I stamped the wreath from the Alpine Adventures Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink and the holly over it in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I cut it out with the same thinlits.  I added a Cherry Cobbler ribbon over the wreath.

Stampin’ Up! Varied Vases – HSS302

As we speak I am on my way with four team members to Orlando for OnStage.

As a demonstrator, this is one of the many perks we get and is a great reason to join today.  Stampin’ Up! is celebrating their 30th anniversary and it’s going to be quite a time celebrating.

Now on to today’s card…

Today’s card features the Hand Stamped Sentiment’s newest color challenge!  I just loved these colors together!!  Be sure to play along this week!

My card starts off with Merry Merlot cardstock which I embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

Next I adhered down a piece of Gold Foil over the cards front.

I stamped the frame from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it.

I used the Varied Vases stamp set to stamp the vases and flowers in Merry Merlot, Pumpkin Pie, and Crushed Curry ink (stamping off for the inside of the flowers).  I stamped the sentiment also in Merry Merlot ink.

Stampin’ Up! So Santa Christmas Card

I am having so much fun coloring with the Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I’ve always been really intimidated by water coloring, but using the Stampin’ Blends Markers makes coloring so easy and a lot of fun!

My card starts off with Poppy Parade cardstock.  Next I matted a panel of Soft Sea Foam cardstock which I embossed using the Simply Stripes embossing folder on Whisper White cardstock.

Before adhering it down, I wrapped around some Poppy Parade ribbon and tied a bow (to be adhered over the Whisper White).

I stamped the image from the So Santa Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I used Poppy Parade, Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers to color in the images.  I also used the Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker to give Santa some rosy cheeks.

I matted this on a slightly larger panel of Whisper White cardstock and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
