Stampin’ Up! Simply Elegant Wedding Card & Video

Let’s talk Designer Series Paper for a moment.

I think besides ink pads, it was the first thing I bought when I first started stamping. Why? Because it makes really easy, quick, beautiful cards.

The new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is full of gorgeous Designer Series Paper – honestly, I think Stampin’ Up! hit it out of the park with the paper!!!

I have a Product Share to get you a sampling of it all!!! Yes all new Designer Series Paper. I just counted and it’s 172 sheets of 6×6 paper – wow!

I used the new Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper in my card today. It’ll be available beginning May 4th, as well as in my Product Share!

My card starts with Very Vanilla cardstock. In the corner I stamped the floral image from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink (stamping off first). I then embossed this using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

(I must reaaaaalllly like doing this, but I did it yesterday in this card.)

I then adhered two patterns from the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper. The name fits this paper perfectly – it’s very elegant!!!!

I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock, sprinkled it with Silver Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Painted Labels Dies and then wound some beautiful Silver Trim underneath it.

*This Simply Elegant Trim comes in silver and gold and is included in my Product Share.

I then fussy cut out two of the flowers from another pattern in the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper. Lastly, I added a few silver epoxy embellishments (also included in the Product Share).

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Spotlight Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!!

My card today starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.

Stampin' Up! Forever Blossoms Spotlight Card

I then stamped the bigger floral image from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Smoky Slate on a panel of Basic White cardstock.

I then used an oval from the Layering Ovals Dies to cut out the center. I used the same dies to cut out a Smoky Slate scalloped oval to adhere under it.

I used the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers to color in the flowers on just the part that was cut out (and just the Light Marker to add a highlight around the flowers that aren’t colored in) and the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends to color the petals. I adhered the oval down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Lastly, I added a couple of Champagne Rhinestones next to the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Neutral Color Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge this week.  Happy hopping!

I saw a card that Chloe Evans made the other day.  I was so inspired by the colors and how she used the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set that I decided to CASE (copy and selectively edit) it for my card today.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then stamped the large flower from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set on it in Crumb Cake ink.

I then stamped the same flower in Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker to add a highlight around the flowers.  I matted this on Basic Black cardstock and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out.

I stamped the single flower and leaf in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, highlighted it with the Light Crumb Cake Blends Marker, and fussy cut it out.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Parisian Beauty “Love” Card

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “LOVE.  Have fun hopping around and seeing how everyone was inspired by the theme.

I decided to keep with a black and white card, with a hint of gold, using the new Parisian Beauty Bundle.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then stamped the flower from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Memento Black ink in the two corners, stamping off first for a lighter shade.

Next I adhered a pattern from the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper to the left of the card.

I used the coordinating Parisian Dies to cut out an Eiffel Tower from Basic Black cardstock.  To make sure the “amour” had a bigger impact, I cut three of them out of Gold Foil and adhered them over one another.

Lastly I added a few gold and black rhinestones around the card.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Parisian Blossoms Merci Card

I am obsessed with the Parisian Blossoms Suite in the 2020 Jan-June Mini Catalog.

It’s a big suite, including two bundles, Designer Series Paper, an embossing folder, rhinestones, and ribbon – all beautiful!!!  It’ll be available Jan 3rd!

My favorite piece of it has to be the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper.  Be sure to check out my Product Share that I’m offering for the new catalog as it includes this paper and you’ll definitely want it…and all the new Designer Series Paper for that matter.

My card today starts off with Pool Party cardstock on which I adhered a pattern from the new Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Next I stamped the flower image from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using Petal Pink (flowers), Mossy Meadow (leaves & stem), and Pool Party (a highlight around it) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I then matted this on Pool Party cardstock and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I used the new Parisian Dies to cut out the “merci” twice from Petal Pink cardstock, adhering one over the other, and I added a few Champagne Rhinestones around the flower.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
