Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Congratulations Card

I recently had to make a congratulations card for a team member and decided to use the gorgeous new Bird Ballad Suite from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.

It includes the Free As A Bird Stamp Set, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, and Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

The Bird Ballad DSP is gorgeous!!  It’s included, along with all the other new DSP, in my Product Share.  For more details on my Product Share, check below.

My card starts off with Coastal Cabana Cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Bird Ballad DSP on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I stamped the bird image from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using Petal Pink (birds), Pool Party (leaves), Poppy Parade (flowers), and Crumb Cake (branch) Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut it out using the new (and in my opinion, must-have) Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Little Elephant Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Poppy Parade cardstock.  I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday challenge.

Stampin’ Up! *NEW* Free As A Bird Card

OnStage was amazing this weekend!

If you missed it, you’re definitely going to want to check out yesterday’s blog post filled with tons of sneak peeks of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.

For today’s card I’m using the BRAND NEW Free As a Bird Stamp Set, which is part of the Bird Ballad Suite which I LOVE!!!  It will be available beginning June 4th!

My card starts off with Old Olive cardstock.  I then used the leaf image and stamped it in the corners in Old Olive ink.

I then cut two banners, one from a Crumb Cake pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper and the other from Calypso Coral cardstock.

Next I stamped the bird and leaf images from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock that was cut out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I used Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers to color it in.

I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink and added a few Pearls around the images.

Enjoy!

Be sure to grab this stamp set on June 4th when it goes live for customers to order!!  In the meantime – make sure you reserve a 2019-2020 Annual Catalog from me today (link below).
