Stampin’ Up! Friendly Expressions Congratulations Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Night of Navy cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper on Balmy Blue cardstock.

Next I used the Friendly Expressions Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on Balmy Blue cardstock.  I fussy cut out a few butterflies to adhere to the left of it.

Underneath the sentiment I wound some Silver Thread.

Under the thread I used the Stitched Labels Framelits to cut out the beautiful stitched die out of Whisper White cardstock.  I added a few wooden elements from the Butterfly Elements in the corners (free with a qualifying order).

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Expressions Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Grapefruit Grove cardstock which I embossed using the Basket Weave embossing folder.

Next I matted a panel of Petal Pink cardstock on Whisper White cardstock and then a pattern from the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper on Basic Black cardstock.

Next I covered the “you make me” from the sentiment from the Friendly Expressions stamp set with washi tape, inked it up with Memento Black ink, removed the washi tape, and stamped it on Whisper White cardstock.  I then cut this out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Then I reversed it and this time covered the “proud” from the sentiment with washi tape, inked it up with Memento Black ink, removed the washi tape, and stamped it on Petal Pink cardstock.  I adhered this over the oval and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Grapefruit Grove Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to finish it off.

Enjoy!
