Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

You can find inspiration anywhere for paper crafting.

One of my favorite places to turn to for inspiration is Pinterest. It’s jam packed with all things inspiration and not just cards.
You can find nature images and paintings and the such and you can also find a ton of color inspiration.

I’ve actually created a board just for color inspiration and that’s how today’s card came about. Check it out. You’ll even find the inspiration for today’s card that I pinned a couple of days ago!

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

My card starts off Gray Granite cardstock which I covered with a Gray Granite pattern from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I next took a panel of Basic White cardstock and using the Stamparatus (which is key to getting the perfect alignment of stamped birthdays) I stamped the birthday from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set in So Saffron, Gray Granite, Pear Pizzazz, and Shaded Spruce ink.

I then matted this on a panel of Basic White and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

Next I stamped the “happy” in Shaded Spruce ink and fussy cut it out, adhering it down with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I next stamped the balloons from the Hippo Happiness Stamp Set in So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, and Shaded Spruce ink and cut it out with the Hippo & Friends Dies. I stamped the strings in Gray Granite ink and fussy cut them out.

Thanks for checking out my card today.

Stampin’ Up! Masculine Biggest Wish Birthday Card

For this week’s color challenge, I’m using the Biggest Wish Stamp Set to make a birthday card!

This stamp set has quickly become a favorite because of its big, chunky words that can really fill a card with lots of color!

This card will actually be my son’s birthday card. His birthday is Sunday and I always enjoy designing a card specifically for each of my kids.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

My card starts off with Basic Gray cardstock which I covered with a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the birthday from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set in Real Red, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, and Bermuda Bay ink. I used the Stamparatus to stamp so that I got a perfect, even line of words.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I then stamped the happy over in Memento Black ink.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I matted this on Real Red cardstock and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Oh Snap Birthday Card

All this week I’ve been sharing cards using the 2021-2023 In Colors. Today, I’m sharing a card that uses Pale Papaya.

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a theme challenge, “Things with Wings.” I decided to use a not to obvious option – the Oh Snap Stamp Set. Have fun hopping through the blogs!

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

I then adhered a pattern from the True Love Designer Series Paper to the left of the card.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly, I cut out a panel from Pale Papaya cardstock and another panel from the NEW Ombre Specialty Paper. It’s actually not that long, but I snipped it in half and adhered it so it looks like it’s a long panel.

I then stamped the crocodile, bird, and fish in Memento Black ink. I colored them in using Granny Apple Green (croc), a tad of Daffodil Delight (bird), and Pale Papaya (fish) Stampin’ Blends Markers. I fussy cut them out and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin Up Oh Snap Birthday Card

Lastly, I stamped part of a sentiment from the Oh Snap Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and snipped the end in a banner.

Last I saw it was 12-18″ expected….and I say – bring it on!!!
I LOVE the snow and the more the better.

It’ll be a perfect day to get stamping!

Now, if you don’t like the snow, today I have a springy, floral card for you. It starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock, which I covered with a Soft Sea Foam pattern of Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the “birthday” in Mossy Meadow ink, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Around them, I adhered rhinestones, pearls, and Rococo Rose pearls.

Next, I stamped the flowers from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set in Rococo Rose (stamping off for the lighted shade) and the small leaves in Mossy Meadow ink. Stampin’ Up! Stitched Triangles Birthday Card

I just LOVE the Stitched Triangles Dies.

(Well, I just about love every die.)
But the triangles are such a fun shape to work with – and they’re perfect to fill an empty space.

For my color choice I was inspired by our new color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I sure hope you’ll play along these next two weeks!

My card starts off with Coastal Cabana cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Magenta Madness cardstock.  In the corner I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set in Magenta Madness ink.

I then used the Stitched Triangles Dies to cut out triangles from Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, and Bumblebee cardstock.  I used the same dies to cut out a banner from Bumblebee cardstock to layer over one of the triangles.

Lastly, I added a Magenta Madness enamel dot.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
