Stampin’ Up! Rework Layout Harvest Hellos

A few weeks ago I made a Halloween card using the Harvest Hellos Bundle.

I took the same sketch and the stamp set and created a new card for you today.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock which I embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

I then took a square of Cajun Craze cardstock and stamped the pumpkin, stem, and curl on it in Cajun Craze ink.  Underneath it I adhered a Mossy Meadow square.

I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on a narrow panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped the pumpkin in Cajun Craze, leaf in Mossy Meadow, and stem in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and colored them in with the same color Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Halloween Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Basic Black cardstock.

Next I took a square panel of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and stamped the pumpkin, stem, and curl images from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie ink.  Underneath it I offset a panel of Whisper White cardstock.

Next I took a small piece of Basic Black cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set on it in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I stamped the pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored it in using the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.  I did the same for the stem and leaf, this time using Crumb Cake.  The pumpkin and stem I cut out using the Apple Builder Punch and the leaf I fussy cut out.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Back to School Harvest Hellos Cards

My kiddos go back to school Thursday.

It’s always bitter-sweet, but I know both them and I are ready to get back in the swing of things.

I’m not sure exactly when the tradition started, but I always hide a card in their lunch box the first day of school.  My kiddos make their own lunches, so it’s getting harder and harder to “sneak” them in, but I know they look forward to them.

This year I made their cards using the Harvest Hellos and Buffalo Check Stamp Sets.  The cards are all a similar design, but with different details depending on their personality.

For my son, going into 6th grade, also my picky eater, he’ll only eat Granny Smith Apples, so of course his card had green apples using Granny Apple Green colors.

For my youngest daughter, going into 4th grade, she’s going through an “I love red and black” phase, so I kept a Basic Black card base and added some sparkly black ribbon.

For my oldest daughter, going into 8th grade, she’s obsessed with apples (yes, I even have to limit her to two apples a day), I kept things different than her sister’s (because heaven forbid I did the same) and added some extra details with the seeds.

Overall, I think they’ll like their cards and I can’t wait to hear all about their first day of school.

Enjoy!
