Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Thing – Sweet Card

The very first thing I ever bought from Stampin’ Up! was their Designer Series Paper.

I loved all the designs, high quality product, and how everything was color coordinated.

And something they match Designer Series Paper to framelits that cut images out – now that’s pure brilliance!

My card today starts off with Gorgeous Grape cardstock.  I then took a panel of Pool Party cardstock and embossed it using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I used the new More Than Words Stamp Set (part of the newly released Sale-A-Bration coordinating product) and stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.

I adhered over that a pattern from the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper.  I took another pattern and used the Jar of Sweets Framelits to cut out the jar of goodies, adhering the one down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This paper combined with the framelits make this card easy peasy!

Today’s card is the one I made on my Facebook Live video last week.

Please note that I will not be doing a live video today as I am working this morning and my son has a school concert tonight.

This card features brand new product from the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog – the Meant To Be Bundle!  This is a great set, but the star of the show for sure are the framelits!!

My anniversary is coming up in February, so I decided to make an anniversary card for my hubby.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Birthday

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

I then layered a pattern from the Wood Textures DSP over the card front.

Next I matted a panel of Whisper White cardstock on Call Me Clover cardstock.  I stamped the flower from the Petal Palette Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and colored it in using Call Me Clover and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Marker to color just a little bit around the flower.

Lastly, I tied a Linen Thread ribbon through a True Gentleman button to the one corner.

Stampin’ Up! Love You To Pieces Card

I’ve been so busy cutting up and prepping my Product Shares that I really haven’t had time to play with my new Annual Catalog goodies.

So I was so excited yesterday to pull out the Love You To Pieces Bundle for my Facebook Live Tutorial.

This is a fun set and I knew I “needed” it because my girls and I LOVE doing puzzles in the fall and around Christmas.  I can’t wait to scrapbook with this bundle!

I had to move my Facebook Live Tutorial to Friday night because of a scheduling conflict, but normally they’re Wednesday night at 7:30 pm EST.  If you catch it live and leave a comment, at the end I draw a name for someone to receive that night’s card!

Hand Stamped Sentiments #289

I am pretty excited about this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments #289 challenge – I LOVE banners!!

It’s just about wedding season and I actually had a special request come in to make a wedding card.  This is what I made…

My card starts off with Powder Pink cardstock which I embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder.

I then cut out a 2″ Silver banner and adhered over it a Marina Mist scalloped square which I cut out using the Layering Squares Framelits.  I stamped in Powder Pink ink and cut out the cake using the Cake Soiree Bundle.

I cut out a silver rose using the Sweet Cake Framelits.  Next to it I wound around some Silver Thread and placed a Silver Enamel dot over it.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Whisper White cardstock, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder, and heat embossed it.

Happy Friday!!

Today’s card took me a bit out of my comfort zone.  I normally would never put these colors together, but I think they’re great for a boy’s card or a teenager’s card.

The Epic Celebrations stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog is one of a kind and there’s nothing like it in any of the current catalogs.  It’s a must for young kids!  I can’t wait to scrapbook my son’s pictures with it!
