Stampin’ Up! Buffalo Check Christmas Card

This month’s “Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop” theme is Christmas or Happy Holidays. I hope you enjoy hopping to the different blogs to see what everyone made.

My card starts off with Basic Black cardstock. I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the Buffalo Check image on it in Memento Black ink and then matted it on another panel of Whisper White cardstock.

I took a panel of Real Red cardstock and used the Pine Wood Dies to cut out a tree from it. I adhered this over the Buffalo Check using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, cutting it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Underneath the sentiment, I wound around a piece of Real Red Braided Ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! Thinking of You Snow Front Card

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a nice weekend and were able to get some stamping in.  I love this time of the year and it’s by far my favorite time to stamp.

My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I layered with a pattern from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Shaded Spruce cardstock.  I stamped the images from the Snow Front Stamp Set on it, the mountain in Delicata Gold ink, trees in Shaded Spruce ink, and cardinal in Cherry Cobbler ink.

I cut out a scalloped circle from Gold Foil using the Layering Circles Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Behind it I tucked some Shaded Spuce ribbon.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock on which I adhered a pattern from the Let It Snow Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the penguin from the Playful Penguins Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and the hat and scarf in Real Red ink.  I fussy cut them out and adhered them over the circle.

Lastly I added a few Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots to the corner.
