One Big Meaning – Many Thanks

Do you ever find that one thank you isn’t enough?

For today’s card share, I embraced the many Thank Yous that the One Big Meaning Stamp Set has.

My pallet for this card was neutrals.  That way it works just as easily for a guy as a girl.

I started with a base color of Sahara Sand.

One Big Meaning - Stamp It Up With JaimieI stamped the variety of thank you sentiments in Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, and Soft Suede all around the card.

I did stamp one Thank You on a separate Whisper White, cut it out, matted it, and used dimensionals to give it some lift.  I added a coordinating Candy Dot as well.

Party Pants

Today’s card’s color inspiration comes from the Can You Case It Challenge.  I love these colors together!

The picture doesn’t show it too clearly, but I started with a base color of Thick Whisper White and then just the right side with Sahara Sand.  I then layered them with Basic Gray.

I used the Softly Falling Impressions Embossing Folder to give the Basic Gray some texture.  It mirrors the falling effect on the balloons.

The Night of Navy balloons are from the Balloon Celebration Bundle.  The dots were stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed in white.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Party Pants (Sale-a-bration) Stamp Set and is stamped in Night of Navy.

Number of Years Bundle!

From the moment I laid my eyes on the Occasions Catalog I knew I wanted the Number of Years Bundle!  I think it’s just so versatile for cards and scrapbooking alike.  It covers birthdays, anniversaries, school grades, and can even ring in a new year.

I love – love – love this bundle!  It was a must for me.

For my card today, I used the Thick Whisper White cardstock for my base and layered it with an Old Olive pattern from the Wildflower Fields DSP.

I used the Number of Years Stamp Set in Night of Navy for my numbers as well as the other sentiment details.  The framelits match for a perfect cut!

World’s Best Dad Card

I’m in love with this beautiful Going Places Designer Series Paper! I love the more masculine designs and colors.  When I saw it, I knew I just had to have it – 1: Because we do a lot of traveling as a family and it will be great for scrapbooking and 2: My husband LOVES old world maps so for Father’s Day cards and birthday cards for him – this is perfect!

For today’s card, I started off with a background of Delightful Dijon.  I then layered it with a page from the Going Places DSP.

Going Global - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

My stamped globe, as well as the sentiment is from the Going Global Stamp Set.  I knew I wanted the sentiment “World’s Best Dad” and the arrows as well, but they were on different stamps.  First I stamped the “World’s Best Dad” in Basic Black.  Then, I covered the other sentiment with Washi Tape (so as to just show the arrows) and inked the stamp.  Then I removed the Washi Tape and stamped the arrows under the “World’s Best Dad” sentiment.

For the layered look, I used other designs from the Going Places DSP in Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Delightful Dijon and then finished off with a touch of Linen Thread.
