Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thanks Card

I love mixing new items with items that have been around for a bit.

Today I mixed the NEW World of Good Designer Series Paper with the returning Sailing Home Stamp Set.

My card starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock. I took a pattern from the World of Good Designer Series Paper and stamped the birds on it in Misty Moonlight ink to adhere to the card front. I took another pattern and ripped the edges of it to make it a little rustic.

I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered this down on a Whisper White panel cut using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink and cut it out using the Smooth Sailing Dies. I adhered it and the lighthouse down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thanks Card

This past weekend my family and I visited family in Montreal, Canada.

We ended up staying one more day until Monday, which meant my card for Monday morning never happened because I didn’t bring my laptop with me.

So needless to say, today’s card was meant for Monday and would’ve been a part of this sketch challenge (so you can see my inspiration).

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock. I next took a pattern from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper and matted it on Night of Navy cardstock. Around that I wound some Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine into a knot.

Next I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out a piece of Night of Navy cardstock. To the side I stamped the birds from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink.

On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sailboat and sentiment in Night of Navy ink and cut them out using the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies, which I adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Today is Wednesday and finally there’s nothing on the calendar keeping me from my Facebook Live Tutorial tonight!

Today’s card is one I featured a couple of weeks ago.

It’s a fun fold card as the anchor pokes through the card front, but is adhered to the inside of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The images and dies come from the Sailing Home Bundle.

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Sahara Sand cardstock. I then layered a pattern from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper on Balmy Blue cardstock, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut out a Night of Navy circle using the Layering Circle Dies and wound around a Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine bow.

I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink and cut it out with the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies, adhering it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock.
