Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Extraordinary Card

Last week I shared a sweet and easy fun fold card using the beautiful Simply Succulents Bundle for my YouTube live.

Unfortunately, I have to cancel today’s live as I have a doctor’s appointment….which by the way, I was reminded today by one of my kids how badly I need to keep my calendar updated. If it wasn’t for one of them, I wouldn’t have realized the double booking.

Anyone else have a horrible memory?!

My card starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock. I then scored a diagonal to the card front. I then cut down a piece of Golden Garden Acetate to adhere to the card. I then adhered down the flap from the fold using Tear & Tape adhesive.

Next I stamped two succulents and bucket in Memento Black ink. I colored them in using Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut them out, and the aloe and hanging plant, using the coordinating Potted Succulents Dies.

I then adhered them over a Basic White circle which I cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.

For the inside, I adhered a pattern from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper to the top. I adhered a panel of Basic White cardstock to the bottom and I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Ombre Card

Who’s through the moon, over the top, can’t wait, relieved, already in their pajamas excited it’s Friday!!

Okay, maybe it’s just me, but I’m ready for the weekend!!!
To start us off, I’m sharing a simple (but the coloring steps it up a notch) card today.

My card starts off with Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the Blender Brushes to add (from top to bottom) Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, and Old Olive ink. I used the Potted Succulents Dies to cut out a beautiful overlay from Basic White cardstock, which I adhered over the colored cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink. I cut it out, a well as two succulents “dangly things,” one from Old Olive and the other from Pear Pizzazz cardstock, using a label from the same dies.

Underneath I wound around some Blackberry Bliss ribbon and then adhered the label down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Simply Succulents Thank You Card

First off – Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!!

I am using a brand new bundle for today’s card…The Simply Succulents Bundle…from the 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog. This will be available to customers beginning Jan 5, 2021.

My card starts off with Sahara Sand cardstock which I embossed using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and cut out a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I stamped the pot from the Simply Succulents Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored it in using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Underneath it I adhered a Mint Macaron pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper.

On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the succulent image. I had a lot of fun coloring it in using Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. I adhered this over the post usng Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents Stamp Set in Mint Macaron ink, cutting it out with one of the dies in the bundle. Underneath it, I adhered a piece of Mint Macaron ribbon.
