All this week I’m sharing projects using the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper.

Monday I shared a simple card and yesterday I shared a gift giving option.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Holly-Days Card

This past Saturday was World Card Making Day.

The team celebrated by going live every hour to share a paper crafting project.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Holly-Days Card

I decided to make a Christmas card using the Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Holly-Days Card

For the greenery cascading down, I used a stamp from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Holly-Days Card

To add a little detail to the greenery, I added some red Decorative Matte Dots.

I next took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the lace detail on either side of it in Real Red ink. I then matted this on a Cinnamon Cider panel.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

Let’s talk tags for a moment.

Do you use them?
If so, how?

We have punches that make tags and dies that make tags.
Which do you prefer?

Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

I love to make tags for gift giving. I’m always wrapping a team gift or family gift and decorating with a tag. Of course, the tag has to coordinate with the card.

Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

I also REALLY like using tags as a design element to a card.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

This past Tuesday I heled our monthly team meeting with my Art & Soul team.

I wanted to try something new this month and did a mystery stamping card with them.
I gave them cardstock measurements and the general tools they’d need, but they picked colors, stamps, embossing folder, etc.

So our cards look similar, but are all different.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Card

Today’s card starts off with Real Red cardstock. I then took a pattern from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper and matted it on Basic White cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Card

I then stamped a background using images from the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set in Real Red, Old Olive, and Cinnamon Cider ink. I embossed it using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, cut it in four pieces, and matted it on Basic White cardstock.

I then matted that on Old Olive cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Card

I then stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Cinnamon Cider cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Card

Under the sentiment I added a piece of Real Red Ruched Ribbon and then adhered the sentiment over it in Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Card

This Christmas card I made as my prototype for my team meeting.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Card

I then made a card at the same time as my team was Tuesday night. I switched things up and used the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and this is how that came out:

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Card

I have a great team and I love these ladies dearly.

We have a fun time together and would love for you to join the Art & Soul team!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Christmas Card
