Stampin’ Up! Classic Cloche Card

I swear sometimes if my head wasn’t stuck on my shoulders, I’d lose it.

Today’s card was one I made for last week’s Wednesday night live…
I forgot I made it…
Made a different one…
And later remembered this one.

So, I’m going to be making this one today over on YouTube instead at 1:00 pm EDT. I sure hope to “see” you then!

I’m using non-traditional Christmas colors for this card that shows off the Classic Cloche Bundle.

(By the way, I hope you can make it to the live tutorial today because I need your help pronouncing this bundle.)

If you ever miss any of my tutorials, you can check them out over on YouTube, and while there, be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out on anything!!

And here’s a plug for tomorrow night, Wednesday, I’ll be live over in Facebook at 7:30 pm EDT. Hope to “see” you there as well!!

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

I love the suites that Stampin’ Up! puts together. It’s all coordinated product that’s meant to go together which makes paper crafting so easy!

For today’s card, I used product from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite.

Stampin' Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

It’s part of this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop which is a sketch challenge.

May be an image of text

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper.

Stampin' Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

I next took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the lace detail on either side of it in Real Red ink. I then matted this on a Cinnamon Cider panel.

Stampin' Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

I then took another pattern from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper and fussy cut out the mittens – aren’t they the cutest!

Stampin' Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Real Red cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Stampin' Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

Lastly, I added a couple of acrylic shapes around.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

I love when Stampin’ Up! gets extra creative with their stamps like with the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set.

I used it last week for my Facebook Live tutorial. I showed this fun Christmas card and the same layout but as a birthday card as well, which you’ll see on Friday.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

This Christmas card is unique first because of the little piece of Designer Series Paper that pokes out the side next to the stitched scalloped edge.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

I also did some fun fussy cutting and paper piecing to make presents at her feet.

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

The great part about the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set is you can make so many different images just by mix and matching them. Be sure to check out my post on Friday to get a look at the birthday card, especially if fussy cutting isn’t your thing. 😉

Stampin’ Up! Delivering Cheer Christmas Card

I’ll be back tonight with another live tutorial!! I’ll be showing you how to make Part 2 of yesterday’s card that I made on YouTube. Join me at 7:30 pm EDT over on my Facebook page.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

Let’s talk tags for a moment.

Do you use them?
If so, how?

We have punches that make tags and dies that make tags.
Which do you prefer?

Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

I love to make tags for gift giving. I’m always wrapping a team gift or family gift and decorating with a tag. Of course, the tag has to coordinate with the card.

Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

I also REALLY like using tags as a design element to a card.

Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Christmas Card

Today’s card was one I shared last week for my Facebook live. It uses the Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set, the Tailor Made Tags Dies, and beautiful Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Season’s Greetings Card

Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper was the first thing I fell in love with and bought (even before ink pads).

We get a treat during Sale-a-bration where we can earn product, including Designer Series Paper, for free!

Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Christmas Card

I chose to use the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration Brochure for this week’s theme challenge – “critters.”

May be an image of emperor penguin and text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop August 12 Theme Challenge Critters'

My card starts off with Just Jade cardstock which I embossed using the gorgeous Wintry Embossing Folder.

This is a mini embossing folder so naturally doesn’t fit the complete card front. If you’re looking for a trick on how to make this work, check this out here.

Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Christmas Card

I next used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out a pattern from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Christmas Card

I then put my Paper Snips to the test and fussy cut out three of the sweet animals, adhering them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Christmas Card

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Penguin Place Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Stampin' Up! Penguin Place

Underneath it I wound some black and white twine and added a little sequin.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas to Remember Christmas Card

Who’s excited for next Tuesday?!?!

On the outside it looks like a regular Tuesday, but oh, it’s not!

Our July-December Mini Catalog goes live and Sale-a-bration Aug 3rd!!!!!!
Need a catalog, you can request one here.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.

I then used the Christmas Pinecone Dies to cut out pines from Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz cardstock and pinecones from Soft Suede and Early Espresso cardstock.

*These were a little tricky to cut out. You’ll definitely want the roll end of the Take Your Pick tool to get all the little pieces out. And then I suggest you start adhering them together bit by bit.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember in Garden Green ink and then cut it out using the Seasonal Labels Dies. I also used the die that cuts out little slit to be able to tie a gold bow through.

Ribbon tip: I don’t actually tie the bow using the ribbon I wrap around. I wrap the ribbon around, secure it underneath the label, and then tie a separate bow that I just adhere it next to the sentiment.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!!

This product will go live Aug 3rd – so be sure to add it to your Wish List.
