Stampin’ Up! Press On Thanks Card

Happy Friday!!!

Grab yourself a cup of coffee and make a coffee card today – you deserve it!  😉

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then took a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock and embossed it using the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder.

**Want to receive this embossing folder for free?  Check out the bottom of this post for more details.

Next I stamped the coffee cup from the Press On Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I colored in the bottom part of it using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and I fussy cut it out.

I stamped the same coffee cup on a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock, fussy cut out the middle part, and embossed it with the same embossing folder as above, adhering it onto the coffee cup.

I stamped the sentiment from the Press On Stamp Set in Merry Merlot ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered the coffee cup over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals

Lastly, under the square I adhered a Crumb Cake pattern from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper pack.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Birds & Branches Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop theme is Birds or Animals.  Happy hopping!

Today’s card starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock.

Using the Birds & More Dies, I cut a circle out of one of the patterns from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the detailed parts of the birds from the Birds & Branches Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink and the full bird image over it in So Saffron ink.  I used the same dies to cut them out and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Lastly, I tied a bow next to the birds.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Trio of Peace & Joy Card Video Tutorial

I love bubble matting around words…
And usually have to fussy cut to get the effect.

However, the Peace & Joy Bundle is so fun that it creates the bubbling around the words peace, joy, and bright for you.
And you can layer them up in so many different ways.

Last week for my Facebook live, I did a trio of cards – you might say, something for everyone!

A simple card for a beginner stamper (or someone short on time), a card for an intermediate stamper who likes a simpler card and has a few techniques under their belt, and a card for an avid stamper – someone who wants all the bells and whistles.

They all use the same basic layout and design, but at the same time, three different cards.

Be sure to join me tonight at 7:30 EST on my Facebook page for another live tutorial!  I’m going to be using the Stitched Triangles Dies and making simple, artistic cards.

If you’ve ever missed a tutorial, you can check them out on my YouTube Channel.

Check out the video below to see how I created today’s trio of cards:

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Halloween Card

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “Halloween Fun”.  Have fun hopping around to the different blogs and seeing what everyone’s created this month!

My cards starts off with Basic Black cardstock.  I stamped the web image from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set in Versamark ink at the top and bottom, sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Next I matted a pattern from the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock and wrapped a Black and White Baker’s Twine bow around it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings Stamp in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I cut it out with the Tasteful Labels Dies and used the same dies to cut out a Basic Black cardstock label to go underneath it.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Love of Leaves Card

I hope those of you in the United States have a great and safe Labor Day today!

Hope it’s restful…
and maybe you get some stamping time in for yourself too.

My card today starts off with Cajun Craze cardstock.  I then took a Cinnamon Cider pattern from the 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I inked up the two leaves from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set in Bumblebee ink using a dauber.  Using a dauber allows for less ink to get on the stamp which makes a more crisp stamped image when using a Distinktive stamp, such as the Love of Leaves.

I cut the leaves out with the coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a Cinnamon Cider knot over the one leaf.

I stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider ink, but used the Washi Tape technique to cover and ink up part of the sentiment at a time in order to make the sentiment one long sentence as opposed to two.

I then added two Bumblebee Enamel Dots next to the sentiment.

Thanks for checking out my project today!
Be sure to click on the product images below to put them in your wish list.

Today’s card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge

and the Fab Friday color challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Christmas Card

Without realizing it, four out of my five cards this week were Christmas cards.

Be sure to go back and check them out and be inspired to start Christmas card making early!

My card today starts off with Mossy Meadow cardstock which I embossed using the Old World Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the manger from the Peaceful Nativity Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink.  I colored it in using the Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.  Inside it, I stamped the sentiment form the For Unto Us Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.

I roughed up the edges of it using the side of my Paper Snips and adhered a panel of Gold Foil underneath it, adhering them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I used the coordinating Nativity Dies to cut out a gold star to go above the manger.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Christmas Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Purple Posy cardstock.

I then took a pattern from the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and embossed it using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.  I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set in Highland Heather ink and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I used the same dies to cut out a piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper and offset it underneath the sentiment.

Over on my Facebook and Instagram pages, I gave a tip for adhering over Glimmer Paper, which can be challenging to get anything to stick to.  Be sure to check it out.

Under the sentiment I adhered a bow using the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon and next to the sentiment I added a tiny snowflake.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card

First thing’s first,

Today is pretty exciting!  There’s a special promotion Stampin’ Up! is running and I have one running as well.  You will definitely not want to miss out on either, so be sure to check out both at the bottom of this post!

Now on to today’s card…

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  Over that I adhered a piece from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper.

I then cut out a thin Crumb Cake pattern from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper.  Next to it I cut out a stitched banner from Soft Suede cardstock using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

I then used the Poinsettia Dies to make my poinsettia.  I used Whisper White for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.  Under it I used the same dies to cut out a few sprigs from Crumb Cake and Soft Suede cardstock.  In the center I adhered a Beaded Pearl (love this pearl – so pretty, right?).

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by the new Hand Stamped Sentiment sketch challenge we have for you.  Be sure to play along – it’s a great one!
