Stampin’ Up! Christmas Gleaming Christmas Card

Happy Friday everyone!

I don’t know about you, but it’s been one dilly of a week and I’m just glad it’s Friday!!

I sure hope you’re able to enjoy it and get some time in to craft.

My card today starts off with Shaded Spruce cardstock.  I stamped the “detail” (not sure what else to call it) image from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce ink along the top and bottom.  I used the Stamparatus to ensure I line everything up right.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the holly and berries image from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I used the Shaded Spruce, Flirty Flamingo, and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers to color it in.

I used the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut out a circle on which I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set in Real Red ink.

I then wrapped around a Real Red ribbon and secured it with a Whisper White Baker’s Twine bow.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.  It’s a color challenge and I used the green, red, and, although it’s hard to see, I did use the pink to color the light part of the berries.

Stampin’ Up! SNEAK PEEK Lovely Lily Pad Card Video Tutorial

So excited for today being Wednesday!!

It means I’ll be going live tonight with a new card project and you’re going to LOVE this one.

Today’s card is the one I featured last week.  It uses not one, not two, but three FREE items from the 2020 Sale-a-bration Catalog.  What’s great about these three items is you can use them individually, but they also coordinate with one another.  They’re the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set, Lily Pad Dies, and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper.

All this beautiful new product will be available beginning Jan 3, 2020 with qualifying orders.  If don’t currently have a demo you order from and would like to receive a catalog, please send me a message here.

I sure hope you’ll join me tonight at 7:30 pm EST.  I’ll be using more new items from the 2020 Jan-June Mini Catalog.  I gave a sneak peek of the card on my Facebook page last night.  If you catch it live and leave a comment, at the end I’ll draw a name for someone to receive tonight’s card!!

Stampin’ Up! Monochromatic A Little Lace Card

As we speak, here in Upstate New York we are getting dumped with snow!!

I say bring it on – the more the better – as it’s the perfect excuse to sit and stamp.

My card today starts off with Pool Party cardstock.  Over the card front I adhered a pattern from the *NEW Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper (available Jan 3).

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and first stamped the larger image from the Artisan Textures Stamp Set in Pool Party ink (stamping off first).  Over that I stamped the flower image from the A Little Lace Stamp Set in Pool Party ink (full strength).

I matted this on Silver Foil and added a few rhinestones around it.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the A Little Lace Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with Silver Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Enjoy and stay safe to all my friends in Upstate New York!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Card Using My Favorite DSP!

Well, I did it.  It took since the beginning of September, but I finally did it.

I cut up my favorite piece of Designer Series Paper from the whole 2019 Holiday Catalog for today’s card.

My card today starts off with Night of Navy cardstock.  I then cut a pattern…my favorite pattern… from the Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper and matted it on Very Vanilla cardstock.

Next I used the Merry Christmas Dies and cut out three “merry”s from Very Vanilla cardstock, gluing them over one another.

Lastly I stamped the “Christmas” using a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, using the masking technique to only stamp the “Christmas.”  I fussy cut this out and adhered it down using Mini Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday Challenge.

SNEAK PEEK Stampin’ Up! The Meadow Card Video Tutorial

Twas the day before Thanksgiving…

I don’t know about you, but I love the day before Thanksgiving…almost as much as the actual day.

I’ll spend the day busy with my two girls (13 & 9) cooking and prepping for tomorrow.  It’s a special time of teaching them mommy’s traditions, in the hopes that maybe one day they’ll carry them on.

Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday!!

I will be on tonight at 7:30 pm EST with my Facebook Live Tutorial!  I’m playing with brand new product to the 2020 Mini Catalog.  Today’s card is the one I shared last week and features the new “The Meadow” stamp set.

Today’s card is a CASE (copy and selectively edit) from the catalog.  It’s a beautiful stamp set with TONS of possibilities!!

Be sure to join me tonight at 7:30 pm EST on my Facebook page.  If you catch it live and leave a comment, at the end I’ll draw a name for someone to receive tonight’s card!

To see how I made today’s card, check out the video below:

SNEAK PEEK Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Birthday Card

Sigh…new product.

New product is always so inspiring to use.  Today I’m using the new (available Jan 3) Timeless Tulips stamp set.

Right now you have a chance to earn this stamp set FOR FREE before it’s even available to all demonstrators!!!  All details are at the bottom of this post.

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.  I then took a narrow panel of Vellum and embossed it using the Lace Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the flowers from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Petal Pink ink and the stems and leaves in Old Olive ink.  Because this is a photopolymer stamp set, you can easily manipulate the stems to tilt in different directions.  I then matted this on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I wrapped around a Petal Pink ribbon in a knot and added a few pearls around the bottom.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s TGIF Challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Card

This week of Thanksgiving always brings a time of reflection of all that I am thankful for and blessed with.

I am thankful for Stampin’ Up! and for the new friends it has brought me and the opportunity to take time for myself to make pretty things.  It is so much more than just stamps and paper.

My card today starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the different boughs from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce ink.  “Hanging” from them I stamped some pine cones in Soft Suede ink.  I then took a Blender Pen and pulled color from the stamped image to color them in.

I took a sponge and sort of “scraped” the edge with Soft Suede ink and matted it on Shaded Spruce cardstock.

At the top I wound around a Linen Thread bow.  I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

SNEAK PEEK Stampin’ Up! Parisian Beauty Collage Card

Today I’m featuring a brand new stamp set that I received this past week at OnStage.

It’s called “Parisian Beauty” and features really sweet Parisian-themed images perfect for a collage-type card.

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.  Next I cut a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, later to be matted on Sahara Sand cardstock.

On the Whisper White cardstock, I first stamped the script image multiple times in Petal Pink ink.  I stamped the other “stamp” like and Eiffel Tower images in Sahara Sand over that.

I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand ink on Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I tucked some Petal Pink ribbon behind it and added a few of Champagne Rhinestones (January 3, 2010) next to it.

Stampin’ Up! Monochromatic Still Scenes Christmas Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

I really love monochromatic cards and even more so simple, white and gold cards.  When I saw the sketch I immediately thought – Still Scenes Bundle.

But I was inspired by this card and how the inside sort of pops through the front.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then took the “circle like” die from the Snow Globe Scenes Dies and cut out a window from the top.  I used the same dies and cut out the church, the other building and the church from Whisper White cardstock.

I cut out Gold foil pieces to go behind the buildings.  I used the Shimmery Crystal Effects on the trees and sprinkled it with Ice Stampin’ Glitter.  I adhered them down over one another on the inside of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the same die that cut out the hole to cut out a hole from Gold Foil.  Then I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out around the cut out to make a frame.  I also used the same dies to cut out two sets of the snow globe base.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Enjoy!
