Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames Thank You Card

Hi friends!

I don’t know about you, but this weekend flew by way too fast.
I hope you have a great week ahead (and are able to get some stamping in).

My card today starts off with Pool Party cardstock, which I embossed using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.

I then used the Stamparatus to stamp the rectangle from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set along a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, and Mint Macaron ink.

I stamped the right rectangle first in Mint Macaron ink, moved the hinge one space to the left, stamped it in Pool Party, moved the hinge one space to the left, and stamped it in Misty Moonlight ink. I continued this until all the rectangles were stamped.

I stamped the bird image from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Pool Party ink, stamping off first for a lighter shade.

I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set in the corner in Misty Moonlight ink. I then adhered a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock under the Whisper White panel.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Welcome Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!!

My card starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock which I embossed using the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and first stamped the rectangles in Soft Sea Foam ink from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set.  Over them, I stamped the feathers from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink.

I then matted this on Gray Granite cardstock.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink on Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I decided to play around with colors and stamped the rectangles in Gray Granite ink and the leaf from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam ink.

Then I swapped out the cardstock colors as well as the rectangle and feather colors.

Thanks for checking out my project today.

Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames Video Tutorial

Everyone has a style…a way they like to create.

I really enjoy making cards that are on the simple side, yet pretty and eye catching.

Today’s card was inspired by this card I made a few weeks ago…simple, yet there’s something so pretty about White and Navy together.

Today’s card is one I made last week for my Wednesday night Facebook Live Tutorial.  Normally I would be on again tonight; however, my mother, my kids, and I are going to a concert so I won’t be doing a tutorial.  I’ll be back next Wednesday night though!

If you ever miss a video tutorial, you can always check them out on YouTube.

To see how I created today’s card, check out the video below:

Stampin’ Up! Swirly Frames Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

I have had the concept for today’s card in my head since I bought the Swirly Frames Stamp Set back in June.  I was so happy to finally put it together.

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock.  I then rubbed it with the Embossing Buddy to get all the static off.  I stamped the large and small circle from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set multiple times in Versamark ink.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.

I then stamped the daisy from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set in Balmy Blue ink and the center in Night of Navy ink.  I cut them out using the Daisy Punch.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Another Wonderful Year Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink and matted it on Balmy Blue cardstock, adhering it down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases – Just a Note

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Mossy Meadow cardstock which I embossed with the new Subtles Embossing Folder.

I then matted a panel of Petal Pink cardstock on Gold Foil paper.  I stamped the rectangle frame from the Swirly Frames Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Whisper White cardstock, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Versamark ink and also heat set it in Gold Embossing Powder.

I cut out three flowers from Petal Pink cardstock and three leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Flourish Thinlits.  I added three pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to each flower.

Enjoy!
