It uses the Peaceful Moments Bundle which includes the gorgeous Poppy Moments Dies which layer together to make beautiful poppies.

I’ll be live tonight at 7:30 pm EST on my Facebook page.  If you catch it live and leave a comment, at the end I’ll draw a name for someone to receive tonight’s card!!

If you ever miss a tutorial, you can catch them on my YouTube Channel.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Watercolor Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Coastal Cabana cardstock.

I took a panel of Watercolor Paper and generously applied water using an Aqua Painter.  I added one layer of Coastal Cabana ink to it using the Aqua Painter, dried it with the Heat Tool, wet the paper again, and added more color.

By adding color, drying it, and adding more color, you get a nice layered look of color.

I then offset a panel of Soft Suede cardstock underneath it.

I then stamped the dock and birds in Soft Suede ink and boat in Early Espresso ink on Watercolor Paper.  I used my Aqua Painter, not too wet, to pull color out from the stamped image.  I cut these out using the coordinating Dockside Dies.

I also added a little Daffodil Delight ink to the bellies of the birds.

I then stamped the sentiment from the By The Dock Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink on a Crumb Cake banner.  I adhered all the images down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Lasting Lily Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are by no means cards I enjoy sending.

And yet, many times they have a way of conveying what I wish to say when words fail.

The Sale-A-Bration Lasting Lily is perfect for such a card.

My card starts off with Grapefruit Grove cardstock which I embossed using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  I adhered a pattern from the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper to the right of the card.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the lilies from the Lasting Lily on it, one in Grapefruit Grove ink and the other in Daffodil Delight ink.  The stems and leaves I stamped in Lemon Lime Twist.

I matted this on another panel of Whisper White cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I stamped the sentiment in Grapefruit Grove ink and tucked underneath it a Colored Doily, adhering everything down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Lastly I added some Pearls around the card.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project challenge.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Roots Sympathy Card

Label. Cut. Package. Repeat.

I’ve been a busy little bee getting my product shares ready.

The best part of product share prep is getting my hands on all the new product.  I’ve fallen in love with the Basic Backed Sequins – GORGEOUS! And the Mini Ruffled Ribbons – the catalog just doesn’t do them justice.

Tomorrow I start cutting DSP – can’t wait!

My card today starts off with Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut a banner from a pattern from the Nature’s Poem DSP.

I took a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and another pattern from the Nature’s Poem DSP and offset them from one another.

I used the Nature’s Roots Thinlits and Blackberry Bliss cardstock to cut out a leaf.  I love how these thinlits both cut out, as well as emboss images!  I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink from the Better Together stamp set.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s TGIF Challenge

I cut out an oval using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and used the Waterfront Stamp Set to stamp my scene on it Sahara Sand (mountains), Dapper Denim (stamped off for a lighter shade for the water), Crushed Curry (sun).

I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together Stamp Set in Crushed Curry ink and adhered it over the oval.  Lastly I added a few Crushed Curry enamel shapes.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! – Sympathy Card – PP388

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

I was really inspired by the colors (see the challenge below) to make a sympathy card.  These are my least favorite kind of cards to make because you know that if/when you have to mail them, it’s because someone is grieving.

Yet, it’s a way to show your love and support for them and hopefully lift their spirits, even just for a moment.

My card starts off with Wisteria Wonder cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper Wonder cardstock which I embossed using the flower Petal Pair embossing folder.  I then matted it on Elegant Eggplant cardstock and adhered it to the card.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Elegant Eggplant cardstock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out and the scalloped Wister Wonder circle behind it using the Layering Circles Framelits.

Behind the sentiment I snuck in a die cut leaf from the Petals & More Thinlits using Tranquil Tide cardstock.  I also stamped the flower image from the Petals Palette Stamp Set on some Vellum paper in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder it, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the same Petals & More Thinlits.  Finally I added a banner from the Fresh Florals DSP behind it all.  I adhered everything down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Blooms

When it comes to sympathy cards, I like to keep my cards simple and (almost always) monochromatic.

The Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set from the Sale-a-bration catalog is perfect for such a card.

I start out with Rich Razzleberry cardstock for my card base.  I then adhered on the front a pattern from the Tutti-Frutti DSP.

Next I stamped the flower image from the Heartfelt Blossoms Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock which I mounted on some Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  Before adhering it to the card front, I snuck a piece of a Delicate Doily underneath it.

I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink from the Heartfelt Blossoms Stamp Set on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using a framelit from the Petals & More Thinlits.  I adhered this using Stampin Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

My card was inspired by the sketch challenge at MFT Card Challenges this week.

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Sympathy

No one ever wants to have to send a sympathy card, but when you do, it might as well be made with love.

Unfortunately I have had to make a sympathy, but my hope is that it brings some comfort to the recipient.

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the Petal Palette stamp set to stamp a leaf background on it.  I used Pool Party ink, stamping off first for a lighter shade.

I cut out a Pool Party circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered it with a Vellum leaf cut out from the Petals & More Thinlits.

I cut out a Night of Navy lattice from the Petals & More Thinlits and then stamped the sentiment from the Better Together stamp set in Night of Navy and cut it out using one of the framelits from the Petals & More Thinlits.  I adhered the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside, I stamped the same leaf as the card front (stamping off first) in Pool Party ink and then stamped the sentiment from the Better Together Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink over it.

Enjoy!

My card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.

NEW Fresh Florals DSP

My card today was inspired by the challenge this week at Sunday Stamps.

My card today features the NEW and beautiful Tranquil Tide 2017-2019 In-Color.  I used the cardstock as the base to my card which I then dry embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder.

I took a pattern from the NEW Fresh Florals DSP and matted it on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card.  Looking to get a sample of this beautiful DSP?  Check out my 2017-2018 Annual Catalog Product Share here.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together stamp set in Tranquil Tide ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I took a Delicate Doily and cut out the middle and adhered it behind the sentiment before adhering it to the card.

Enjoy!
