Penned & Painted

I.Am.In.Love with the new Penned & Painted Stamp Set.  I was always a little intimidated by the multi-layered stamps, but I have completely fallen in love with them.

I started with a base of Flirty Flamingo and then layered it with Whisper White.  I used Flirty Flamingo (stamping off once for the lighter shade), Wild Wasabi (again stamping off once), and Peekaboo Peach (yup, stamping off once) to make the two flowers and stems/leaves.

Penned & Painted - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

I used Real Red and Basic Black to make the little ladybug (cute, right?).  I used the Number of Years Bundle to create the Happy Birthday sentiment in Flirty Flamingo.

Enjoy!

I’m also entering the card in the color challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week.

  1. This is really cute, and I love ladybugs (as long as they are not in my house!) This stamp set is great-I really had not noticed it yet, so thanks for showcasing it today!
