I had a fun filled weekend away filled with lots of crafting and now I’m gearing up for another weekend away, this time for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event.

We’ll get to preview the new 2019 Occasions Catalog, even order from it.  We’ll also get some training and have a chance to make some Make and Takes.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Ride With Me Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black ink in Versamark ink.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Merry Moose Birthday Card

Today I’m sharing a card I made at my October stamp class.

It uses the Merry Moose Stamp Set and the masking technique to take a Christmas card and make it a birthday card.

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  Next I took a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock, embossed it using the Pinewood Plans Embossing Folder, and matted it on Soft Suede cardstock.

I cut out a Whisper White circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the tree on it in Mossy Meadow ink (stamping off first).  I covered the “Christmas” on the sentiment stamp from the Merry Moose Stamp Set with washi tape.  I inked it up with Cherry Cobbler ink, removed the washi tape, and stamped it on the circle.

I cut out the “birthday” from the Well Written Dies from Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Next I stamped the outline of the moose in Soft Suede ink and the inside image in Crumb Cake ink.  I cut it out using the Moose Punch.  I stamped the scarf in Cherry Cobbler ink and fussy cut it out.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Super Simple Snowman Season Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop challenge is a sketch challenge.

When I saw today’s sketch, I wanted to keep my card super simple using the Snowman Season Stamp.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  On it stamped the snowman from the Snowman Season Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I colored it in using Poppy Parade and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Poppy Parade cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Underneath the sentiment I added a Pool Party banner and stamped a few snowflakes around it in Pool Party ink.

That’s it – super, super simple.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Classic Christmas Gleaming Card

Today, being Wednesday, I would normally be reminding you that I have my Facebook Live tutorial tonight.

However, please note that it is cancelled.  I am on my way out to a scrapbook retreat and all my fun stamping goodies are all packed and ready to go.  I’ll be back next week!

If you’d like to follow along, please “like” my Facebook page as I’m hoping to post pictures of my scrapbook layouts and my time away.

My card today starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder is sometimes hard to “see” but I love how well it shows up in this dark, rich color cardstock.

I next took a panel of Whisper White and stamped the bough from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set in on it Mossy Meadow ink.  I then matted this on Basic Black cardstock.

I stamped the two ornaments from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and colored them in using Cherry Cobbler and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.   I also stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink.

Lastly I added a Basic Black bow.  What I love is although this ribbon is grouped with the Halloween suite, it has soft edges and can definitely be used for other occasions.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Ride With Me Card

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge is a familiar one.

For our blog hop last Thursday, I actually had the same colors.  You can see how I used the colors last week here.

This week I decided to use the colors with the fun Ride With Me Stamp Set.

My card starts with Real Red cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Let It Snow Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the truck, tree, and the sentiment from the Let It Ride Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored them in using Real Red (truck), Shaded Spruce (tree), and Smoky Slate (tires) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut this out using the Stitched Nested Dies and trimmed the end of it.  Underneath it I adhered down a piece of Real Red ribbon.

Enjoy!
