Merry Christmas Banner

For today’s card, I’m participating in this week’s challenge over at Sunday Stamps.SSC134FMy card is a mixture of Christmas items from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog and the new 2016 Holiday Catalog.  I used Cherry Cobbler as my base and layered it with Very Vanilla which I dry embossed in the Holly Textured embossing folder.

Merry Christmas - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

I then created my banner using Garden Green cardstock, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and a few patterns from the This Christmas DSP.  I love the Triple Banner Punch – it so easy to snip the ends of the banners.  I used the new Hang Your Stocking Bundle to create the holly and Christmas tree on the two solid banners.

Finally, I added some Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine to be able to “hang” my banner and then stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler, cutting it out using the Layering Ovals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Just a Note

I have to start off by saying I went back and forth about today’s card.

As much as I like layers and frills, I also really like simple and clean.  So here we go…

Paisleys & Posies - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

Simple, right?!

I started with Smoky Slate as my base color and layered it with Whisper White and then Basic Gray.

Paisleys & Posies - Stamp It Up With Jaimie - Stampin Up

I then stamped the objects from the new Paisleys & Posies on either side of the card in Whisper White Craft Ink.

Paisleys & Posies - Stampin Up - Stamp It Up With JaimieNext I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Smoky Slate on a 1″ strip of Whisper White and used the Triple Banner Punch to cut the one end.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday

Well, for today’s card I wanted to feature (again) the new Petals & Paisleys NEW DSP.  It’s available in only three days.

It’s funny to think that I almost didn’t purchase the Petals & Paisleys Suite from the new Holiday Catalog.  It was definitely a last minute decision, but I have to say – It’s the stamp set I keep going for and am having to show some restraint because I literally just want to keep using it.

Anyways, back to my card…I started with some Dapper Denim as my base card.  I then added a beautiful – a gorgeous – an irresistible pattern from the Petals & Paisleys DSP, matted over some Very Vanilla.

Happy Birthday - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

Next I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry to go horizontal over the DSP and added a coordinating Mint Macaron bow over it.

Finally, I stamped the fun sentiment using the Stylized Birthday Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry and added some other shapes from the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set.  I cut it out using the Layering Ovals and also cut out the next size bigger in Dapper Denim, adhering them to the center of the card.

Enjoy!

What Will Your Stamp:

and The Paper Players:

My card starts with Rich Razzleberry as its base and is layered with Peekaboo Peach.  Then on the Whisper White I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set to create a splattered background to the rest of the card using Peekaboo Peach.

Sweet Cupcake - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

Then I matted a pattern from the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper to place to the right of the card.  Over the DSP, I used the Sweet Cupcake Bundle to create my cupcake using Rich Razzleberry as the cupcake holder and Peekaboo Peach for the frosting.

Sweet Cupcake - Stampin Up - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

For my sentiment, I used a few phrases from the Sweet Cupcake Bundle stamped in Rich Razzleberry and then cut them up and placed them to the left of the cupcake.  Lastly, I added a Thick White Baker’s Twine ribbon to the corner.

Enjoy!

For today’s card, I’m using a brand NEW to the 2016 Holiday Catalog Stamp Set – Totally Trees.  It has a variety of fun, kind of quirky trees and then coordinating solid stamps for the leaves – LOVE!

My card starts off with the Old Olive as its base.  I then did some fun layering with Whisper White and Crumb Cake.

Totally Trees - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

On the Whisper White I used the Old Olive to create the land and grass at the bottom of the card.  Next I used the Crumb Cake to create the trunk and branches of the trees, using the Bermuda Bay and Old Olive (stamping off once) to make the leaves.

Totally Trees - Stampin Up - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

To finish off my card, I placed two strips of Bermuda Bay Thick Baker’s Twine at the top and added the sentiment from the Acorny Thanks Stamp Set (fussy cutting it out).

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree

My family just got back from vacation in North Carolina and had a lovely time.  I’m starting to feel the rush of the last few weeks of summer before back to school and I kinda feel like I’m clinging on to summer.  Here in Upstate New York, the days are feeling cooler and fall is in the air.  So, even though you’d think I’d make a tree of fall colors, I bring you a summery, bright tree today.

I used Flirty Flamingo as the base to my card and layered it with Daffodil Delight and then Whisper White.

Sheltering Tree - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

I then used the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set to create the tree in Old Olive and the leaves in Flirty Flamingo.  The ground, as well as the bicycle are also in Old Olive.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment which is from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo and layered it over some Daffodil Delight cardstock, cutting them out with the Layering Circles Framelits.  I also added a bit of Silver Thread behind them.

Enjoy!

PRODUCT LIST:

Stampin’ Up! Balloon Celebration

For today’s card share, I combined the color challenge over at Sunday Stamps with the sketch challenge over at Global Design Project. sketch Challenge GDP

I used Crumb Cake as the base for my card and layered it with Dapper Denim.  For the Soft Sky on the Dapper Denim, I dry embossed it using the Sparkle Textured Embossing Folder and left the “negative” side facing out.

Balloon Celebration - Stamp It Up With Jaimie

Next I created my balloons using the Balloon Bouquet Punch which coordinates with the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set.  I stamped the little dots on each balloon in the coordinating color before punching them out.  I cut balloons out in Crumb Cake, Dapper Denim, and Night of Navy.

Balloon Celebration - Stamp It Up With Jaimie - Stampin Up

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set in Night of Navy and added a Night of Navy Enamel Star.  Lastly, before adhering balloons to the card, I attached some Night of Navy Baker’s Twine to make strings for the balloons and tied the ends in a bow.
