Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Card

This week I’ve been keeping things really clean and simple, with mostly all white cards with the Heart & Home Suite.

I kept things pretty clean and simple for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.

May be an image of text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop January 3- Color Challenge- Pick At Least 3 Real Red Petal Pink HighlandHeather Heather Highland Pool Party Granny Apple Green'

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock. I then took a slightly smaller panel of Basic White cardstock and embossed it using the Hive Embossing Folder.

I stamped the floral image from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored it in using Highland Heather, Petal Pink, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored in the centers with Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers but added a little Color Lifter to lighten the color.

I cut it out with the coordinating Flowers of Home Dies, along with Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green sprigs.

Using the Layering Circles Dies, I cut out a circle from the Vellum Layering Designs to go behind the flower.

I stamped the sentiment from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.

How I cut the sentiment out was kind of mistake. I first cut it out with a larger circle. I wanted to see what it looked like cut out with a smaller circle, but didn’t like it. So I put the circles together and adhered some Tear & Tape on the back to hold them together.

Lastly, I added some Rhinestones around.

Thanks for checking out my card today!!!
