June 2017 Paper Pumpkin

Do you have a child that is creative?
Does it seem overwhelming to start a project with them?
Want to beat the summer’s “I’m bored”?

Or maybe you yourself love to be creative, but don’t know where to start?
Or maybe you don’t want to invest in all the crafting product, but would still like to create?

Paper Pumpkin to the rescue!

My daughter had a friend over this morning and I thought it would be great for them to put together June’s Paper Pumpkin.  They made the six cards and four gift bags on their own (with a little guidance).  I plan on filling the bags with watermelon sour candy and giving them to their teachers, as tomorrow is their last day of school!!

Here we come summer!

Are the projects perfectly made?  No.  But they’re made with lots of love and I believe their teachers are going to love them!

The four gift bags easily come together and will hold the watermelon sours as a little something to say thanks to their teachers.

The six cards were my favorite part.  I love the bright colors and summer-y patterns.  Teaching kids to send/give thank you cards is something I think is so important and definitely their teachers deserve it!

  1. Oh my goodness…the girls did a great job creating those bags and cards! I know that the teachers will love them. 🙂 I can’t believe that your kids are still in school! We’ve been out for a month down south!
