Today’s card is a Part 1 of 2 showcasing the beautiful Snowflake Sentiments Bundle. This is a new set to me and I was so inspired by it!!
Here are today’s two cards that are being featured. Come back tomorrow to see the other two cards.
All four cards feature the Snowflake Sentiments Bundle, Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper, Silver and Gold embossing powder, and Silver, Gold, and Champagne Foil Sheets.
The first card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I first cut out the snowflake detail using Whisper White cardstock and then cut out the beautiful champagne foil sheet behind it using the die cuts from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits. I love how these two images layer on one another.
I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set in Versamark ink on Whisper White cardstock after rubbing it with the Embossing Buddy. I have found that the Embossing Buddy is an absolute must when using these darker powders. I sprinkled the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder and heat embossed it.
I added a snowflake and little swirls which were cut out from Gold and Champagne Foil Sheet. Finally I added a few Gold Enamel Circles to the card.
For the second card, I again started out with Thick Whisper White cardstock. This time I adhered over it a pattern from the Year of Cheer DSP. I then stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock, after wiping it with the Embossing Buddy, and then sprinkled it with Silver Embossing Powder heat embossed it. I matted this panel over Silver Foil cardstock and adhered it to the card front.
I cut out the long line of snowflakes from Silver Foil Sheet and then snipped off two of them. I adhered them and two silver swirlies around the snetiment. I added two Silver Enamel Dots to the center of the snowflakes and added some rhinestones around the sentiment.
