Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Hello Card

Happy Friday!!!

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend (hopefully filled with some stamping) and a fun Super Bowl Sunday (for those in the US).

My card today starts off Balmy Blue cardstock, on which I adhered a Balmy Blue pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper.

Next I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the raindrops from the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set in Balmy Blue ink all around across the front.

In the bottom right hand corner I stamped the sentiment (using the Washi Tape technique so as only to stamp the “hello”) in Poppy Parade ink.

I stamped the boots, umbrella, flowers, and handle in Memento Black ink on a separate Whisper White cardstock.  I colored them in using Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the umbrella and handle out with the coordinating Umbrella Builder Punch and the flowers and boots I fussy cut out.

Lastly under the scalloped rectangle, I tied around a Poppy Parade Bow.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.
