Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies A Little Something Card

Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper has always been a favorite of mine.

It makes card making really easy and let’s face it – the paper is beautiful!!

I put out a question on my Facebook page last weekend as to which combination of patterns to use from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the purple combination was the clear winner!

Today’s card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then took two patterns from the Peaceful Poppies DSP and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I used the Poppy Moments Dies to cut out a flower from Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black cardstock.  Next to it I used the Leaf Punch to cut out a few leaves from Old Olive cardstock.

I added a Rich Razzleberry banner underneath the DSP panel and stamped the sentiment form the Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Enjoy!

Today’s card is part of this week’s new Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  It’s a great sketch with lots of layering, so be sure to play along with us this week!
