Stampin’ Up! Stitched Triangles Birthday Card

I just LOVE the Stitched Triangles Dies.

(Well, I just about love every die.)
But the triangles are such a fun shape to work with – and they’re perfect to fill an empty space.

For my color choice I was inspired by our new color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I sure hope you’ll play along these next two weeks!

My card starts off with Coastal Cabana cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Magenta Madness cardstock.  In the corner I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set in Magenta Madness ink.

I then used the Stitched Triangles Dies to cut out triangles from Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, and Bumblebee cardstock.  I used the same dies to cut out a banner from Bumblebee cardstock to layer over one of the triangles.

Lastly, I added a Magenta Madness enamel dot.

Thanks for checking out my project today!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday challenge.
