As you read this I am miles and miles away from my home.
My family and I are traveling to Peru for three weeks and first up is Machu Picchu! We will be spending four days touring around Cusco and the Incan ruins.
We are really excited. I hope to be able to share pictures with you along the way.
Today’s card is one that we made at my Annual Catalog launch party back in June. I took inspiration right from the catalog. This is a great tip if you’re stuck or wanting to know what to do with a stamp set – Look in the catalog to see how Stampin’ Up! used it.
My card starts off with Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I then took a pattern from the Nature’s Poem DSP, matted it on Whisper White cardstock, and adhered it down.

Next I stamped the leaf in Crumb Cake ink and then the sentiment from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the Layering Circles framelits. Behind the sentiment I snuck in some Burlap ribbon.
I then cut out two leaves, one from Rich Razzleberry cardstock and the other from Blackberry Bliss cardstock using the gorgeous Nature’s Roots Thinlits and then tied a Crumb Cake bow from the Nature’s Twine over them.
