Today’s card was inspired by the sketch challenge this week at Fab Friday:
Normally when I make a wedding card, I like to make it in the colors of the wedding. However, with wedding season upon us, I thought it’d be a good idea to have a general wedding card ready to go.
My card today starts off with Basic Black cardstock. I took a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and matted it on Smoky Slate cardstock and adhered it to the card. Over that I adhered a banner of Silver Foil cardstock and a panel of Basic Gray cardstock.
I then cut out a circle of Smoky Slate cardstock using the Layering Circles Framelits and stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink using the Seasonal Bells stamp set at the bottom.
I stamped the bells from the Seasonal Bells Bundle in Versamark ink and heat embossed them using the Heat Tool and silver embossing powder. I cut them out using the Bell Punch. After adhering them to the card, I then wound around some Silver Thread and adhered a Silver Enamel Circle over it.
