Stampin’ Up! Pretty Florals Happy Birthday Card

I don’t know about you, but I’m always running low on birthday cards.
So this week is all about birthday cards using the Pretty Florals Stamp Set.

While this stamp set does have coordinating dies, I searched and searched my stash and it doesn’t look like I ever got them, so I’m using just the stamp set this week.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Florals Card Details:

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock, which I embossed using the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder.

I then adhered a pattern from the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper to the card.

Next, I cut out a tag from Basic White cardstock using the Merriest Trees Dies.

On it I stamped the flowers in Strawberry Slush (stamping off first for a lighter shade) and Granny Apple Green ink.

I then took the brush side of the Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker and tapped it hard against my finger to get it to flick specks onto the tag.

Through the whole I wound through some Strawberry Slush Ribbon in a bow.

Lastly, I added some White Opal Rounds around the florals.
