Masculine Birthday Card

Cards for men can be so challenging – I find simple, clean lines, no bells and whistles are best.

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered it with a pattern from the Going Places DSP. This card happened to be for my husband and he loves old maps, so this was a no brainer!

I layered a strip of Basic Black over some Very Vanilla and then placed my banner with the sentiment over that. The “Happy Birthday” comes from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set in Basic Black. I added two Very Vanilla Candy Dots to finish it off.
