Today I was really inspired by the color challenge over at Just Us Girls. Coming up I have the honor to attend a friend’s baby shower. She’s expecting a baby girl and I thought these colors were great for a card for her!
For my three colors, I’m using Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo (my base color), and So Saffron. I took the Baby’s First Framelits and used the ducky to cut out three ducks in a row.
I cut out three small circles in each of the three colors and adhered them behind the each ducky. I took the heart stamp from the coordinating stamp set – Something For Baby and stamped a color coordinating heart next to each ducky.
For my sentiment detail, I used some Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon to tuck behind the Congratulations which was stamped in Flirty Flamingo and then cut out with the Layering Ovals (with the next bigger scalloped oval behind).
