Okay everyone, you’ll have to give your input.
You know me, I tend to be a minimalist. I like simple and clean.
But I really went back and forth with the empty circle on today’s card.
I considered putting a piece of Designer Series Paper, but then I also really liked it empty. Let me know in the comments your thoughts – keep it empty or fill it?
My card starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock which I embossed using the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.
I took a piece of copy paper and cut out a circle from the Layering Circles Dies. I used a piece of washi tape to hold it to a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I used the Lovely You Stamp Set and stamped the images around it in Misty Moonlight, Seaside Spray, Bumblebee, and Gray Granite ink.
I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets, a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock, and the Layering Circles Dies to cut out a circle.
If you’re not familiar with how to use the Foam Adhesive Sheets, check out this project I did using them – really easy and makes such a difference!
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink on Bumblebee cardstock and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies. I added a Misty Moonlight Enamel Dot next to it.
Thanks for checking out my project today!

PRODUCT LIST:
So pretty! Love the stamping on the background and the embossed card front is perfect…It’s cute as it is, but I might try the DSP, thinking something from one of the color family DSP packs? Let us know what you decide. 🙂
I would have put the smile inside. Simple as that, Right now it looks like it’s missing something.
Lovely colors and design. I would like to see the “window” filled in…maybe a shaker?
Hm, a tough one – I like it simple like this, but maybe a little something – simple shaker maybe? Love your layout and stamp choices either way! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
It be would be fun if you could put a shinny piece of foil that would reflect the person’s face.
I love this card. Thank you.
I like it empty! It draws the eye to sentiment amongst the floral background! Beautiful either way though. I love that embossing in the background. Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
Your card is really pretty. As for the question of the day: I would move the sentiment over into the “hole” or maybe put something in that spot to fill it up a little bit. I like it how it is,though, too!!!
