The other day I posted a card in which I stamped a snow background onto Early Espresso cardstock. You can see that card here. Before I settled on the Early Espresso, I started out with Basic Gray cardstock. In the end I didn’t use it.
When thinking about my card today, I saw the Basic Gray stamped with snowflakes and decided to use it. After all, you can’t wait a well snowflake stamped card!
So I used Basic Gray as my base and stamped the snowflakes from the Greetings with Santa stamp set in White Craft Ink.
I created my snowman using the Swirly Scribbles Framelits. I cut out the three different sized circles in Whisper White and then trimmed them down a bit. Before adhering it to the Basic Gray, I placed a piece of Real Red cardstock underneath it.
Over the snowman’s neck I placed a Real Red ribbon knot. Towards the bottom I placed a strip of Basic Black banner. I then used the Mountain Adventure’s sentiment which I stamped in Versamark and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder which I then heat embossed. I cut it out using the Layering Ovals.
Enjoy!
The inspiration for today’s card comes from The Paper Players challenge this week.
