Stampin’ Up! At Home With You – Stampin Blends

I am so excited for today’s card…

I actually created this card to go with yesterday’s sketch challenge, but then realized I completely left off the banner detail.

So needless to say, it became today’s post.

But what I love about this card so much are the Stampin Blends markers!!!

I am by no means a coloring expect … In fact, I try to avoid watercoloring.  Hence why I haven’t used this stamp set much.

But the Stampin Blends make it soooooo much easier – so user friendly – and very forgiving!  Stampin’ Blends are available to order November 1st!!!

My card starts with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then took a panel from the Merry Little Christmas, matted it on Basic Black cardstock, and adhered it on an angle to the card front.

I stamped the images from the At Home With You stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored in the images using Stampin Blends markers.  I used Crumb Cake, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler markers.  For the welcome mat, I used a Basic Black write marker to color the outside and then stamped it on Whisper White cardstock.  I then inked up the Merry Christmas sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it inside the mat.

I cut out all the images using the coordinating At Home Framelits.  I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Basic Black cardstock and then arranged the images around the Whisper White cardstock.
