Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I took one panel from the Be Merry DSP and cut it down to 5′ x 3.3/4′ and trimmed off bottom left corner.  I then took another pattern and matched the cut out.  I adhered the DSP to a slightly larger panel of Whisper White cardstock and then I covered the seam with some Garden Green ribbon.

Next I cut out a bunch of boughs and other details using the Pretty Pines Thinlits and Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Gold cardstock.  I cut out a few gold pinecones and adhered the one using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I folded around the Garden Green ribbon a few times and tied a Linen Thread bow holding it together.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Whisper White cardstock, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it.
