Stampin’ Up! Witty-Cisms Thank You Card

I have a fun card for you today!!

I think we could all use a bright, fun card today.  It’s part of the new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge and I actually got to pick the colors!!

I sure hope you’ll play along with us!

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock.  I then used the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set and stamped the strawberry in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I actually cut up the stamp to make it easier to just stamp the strawberry.

I then matted a Daffodil Delight pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set on Whisper White cardstock in Memento Black ink.  I colored the strawberry in using Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends, Granny Apple Green for the stem, and a very light shade of Light Pool Party around the strawberry.

I cut this out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and added a Daffodil Delight bow next to it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Witty-Cisms Thank You Card

I love a fun witty sentiment, so I took out the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set for today’s card.

My card starts off with Poppy Parade cardstock which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I next stamped the image from the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Markers and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I cut out a Basic Black scalloped circle using the Layering Circles Dies to adhere under it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then cut a strip of Basic Black cardstock and a Poppy Parade Pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper to go under it.  I used the Painted Labels Dies to cut out a Whisper White edge as well.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thanks Card

This past weekend my family and I visited family in Montreal, Canada.

We ended up staying one more day until Monday, which meant my card for Monday morning never happened because I didn’t bring my laptop with me.

So needless to say, today’s card was meant for Monday and would’ve been a part of this sketch challenge (so you can see my inspiration).

My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock.  I next took a pattern from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper and matted it on Night of Navy cardstock.  Around that I wound some Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine into a knot.

Next I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.   To the side I stamped the birds from the Sailing Home Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink.

On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sailboat and sentiment in Night of Navy ink and cut them out using the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies, which I adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Thank You Care

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock which I layered with using a pattern from the Country Club Designer Series Paper.

Next I stamped the image from the A Good Man Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I colored it in using Night of Navy (dark for hat and light for shirt), Light Mossy Meadow (shorts), Light Balmy Blue (water), Ivory (skin), and Dark Crumb Cake (chair) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I matted this on Garden Green cardstock and wrapped some Garden Green Twine around it.

I stamped the sentiment on the front, as well as in the inside in Garden Green ink (stamping the heart off first for a lighter shade).

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Thank You Card

I love a circle or a square or even an oval…

But there’s something super fun about a totally different shape than the “usual.”  Add some fun layering in and a stitched border and it’s my new favorite product…

The So Sentimental Bundle!  It’s a must!

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.  I then matted a pattern from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper on Whisper White card stock.

I wrapped some Whisper White Ribbon around it and tied a couple of Best Dressed Tassels in a knot.

I stamped the sentiment from the So Sentimental Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Petal Pink cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I used the same dies and cut out a Whisper White layer which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered them over one another using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

It’s Friday!

It’s been a busy week, as I’m sure it has been for you, so today I have a quick and simple thank you card for you.
