Stampin’ Up! Parisian Beauty “Love” Card

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “LOVE.  Have fun hopping around and seeing how everyone was inspired by the theme.

I decided to keep with a black and white card, with a hint of gold, using the new Parisian Beauty Bundle.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then stamped the flower from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in Memento Black ink in the two corners, stamping off first for a lighter shade.

Next I adhered a pattern from the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper to the left of the card.

I used the coordinating Parisian Dies to cut out an Eiffel Tower from Basic Black cardstock.  To make sure the “amour” had a bigger impact, I cut three of them out of Gold Foil and adhered them over one another.

Lastly I added a few gold and black rhinestones around the card.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Valentine’s Day Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

For my card today I decided to combine some items from the Annual Catalog, January-June Mini Catalog, and Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.  I thought the Lily Pad Dies sort of looked like hearts, so I cut out three of them, one from Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Whisper White cardstock.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Stamp Set in Real Red ink.  I cut it out using the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

The die separates a stitched scalloped heart from a regular heart, but I wanted to use both, so I placed Stampin’ Dimensionals along the seam where the two meet in order to get them to stay connected.

I then added a Real Red bow next to the sentiment.

Enjoy!

There’s just a couple of days before the 2020 Jan-June Mini Catalog goes live on Jan 3rd!!!

That also means there’s just a few days left to sign up for my Product Share.  With all the great new Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and embellishments, you won’t want to miss it.

In my Product Share, everything gets packaged in a resealable bag and individually labeled, making it super easy for you to craft with the fun new product.

Today I used the beautiful From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper available in my Product Share and beginning Jan 3rd.

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.  On that I adhered a pattern from the From My Heart DSP over the card front.

I then took a long panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the smaller scalloped heart from the Heartfelt Stamp Set in Real Red on the top and bottom.  I also stamped the arrow in the middle in Real Red ink.

I used the scalloped heart from the Heart Pack Punch to cut out a heart from one of the patterns from the From My Heart Specialty Paper.  In the middle of it I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Stamp Set in Real Red ink.

I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then matted the Whisper White cardstock on Flirty Flamingo cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! NEW Heartfelt Valentine’s Day Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

I let Designer Series Paper do all the work for today’s card.  It’s nice to use it to add little details or add a some extra layering, but I also love it for quick and simple cards.

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.  I then used the new Heartfelt Stamp Set (available Jan 3) and stamped a few hearts in Real Red ink in the corner.

I took two patterns from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper (available Jan 3), matted them on Whisper White cardstock, and adhered them to the card.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Real Red cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Simple and easy.  Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be Valentine’s Day Card

You made it to Friday – Yay!

Any fun plans this weekend?!
We’re still hibernating here in New York which is fine with me because that means lots of stamping in my future.

Before I begin with today’s card, the idea to stamp the hearts in a row is not my original idea and unfortunately I can’t remember who I saw it from.  I did a quick search on Pinterest but I can’t find the original card.  If it’s you, please let me know and I’ll be sure to mention you specifically.

My card starts off with Lovely Lipstick cardstock which I embossed using the Simple Embossing Folder.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the Stamparatus to stamp the heart from the Meant To Be Stamp Set first in Grapefruit Grove, then Lovely Lipstick, and then Blushing Bride across it.  Using the Stamparatus ensures that the images will be perfectly spaced out.

I then matted this on Grapefruit Grove/Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I adhered it down using Mini Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday Challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Quick and Simple Valentine’s Day Cards

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “Love.”

I decided to make super simple Valentine’s Day cards.

Stampin’ Up! has started a social media campaign using the hashtag #simplestamping.  I love this idea, as really clean and simple cards can be very classy…and easy to whip up.

The cards start off with Lovely Lipstick cardstock.

I then matted a pattern from the All My Love Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set in Lovely Lipstick ink on a diagonal.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Gold Vinyl Stickers Valentines’ Day Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.  Happy hopping!

Glitter…glitter…glitter

If you love glitz, today’s card is for you!

Also, there is no stamping – None, zilch – crazy, right?!

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then took a small panel of Whisper White cardstock and adhered a few Painted Love Gold Vinyl Stickers on it – Yes, the sentiments and hearts are stickers!

These stickers are great and there are a ton on each sheet!

I took the “love” panel and put it over another panel of Whisper White where it would go, marking it with a pencil.  (No sense in putting glitter in the spot that was going to be covered.)  I then used liquid glue to adhere a ton of Gold Glitter Flakes.

How I did the glitter flakes was I put some liquid glue on a scrap piece of paper.  I took another piece of scrap cardstock and picked up glue on the edge of it.  Then I lined up the edge with the glue to the line I drew previously and sort of wiped away from the line.  I then sprinkled it with the Gold Flakes.  I dabbed glue towards the top and bottom of the card to put smaller amounts of Gold Flakes.

I matted this Whisper White on a slightly larger Whisper White and adhered it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!
