Garden in Bloom Sweetness

My inspiration for today’s card came from the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge this week.

I started with a base of Thick Whisper White. I then used the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set (which I have to tell you I absolutely loved using) to create my design. The bigger flowers are stamped in Blushing Bride (stamping off for lighter color), the smaller flowers are stamped in Pacific Point, and the leaves are stamped in Garden Green. The outlines are stamped in Memento.

The sentiment, “Hope You’re Feeling Special Today,” also comes from the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set and is stamped on some vellum. I used some Linen Thread, a pattern from English Garden DSP, and some Venetian Crochet Trim to add some texture and depth to the card.
