Just For You - Watercoloring

I have wanted to try this technique for a while now and finally got to play around with it yesterday. Isn’t this a really cool effect?

I started off with a background of Rich Razzleberry and then layered it with watercolor paper. To get the effect of the sentiment, Just For You, from the Botanicals For You Sale-a-bration stamp set, you heat emboss it in white first. That way when you watercolor over it, the embossing resists the ink.

Then I took Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, and Old Olive and watercolored over the sentiment and paper. Lastly, I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry (stamped off first) to add some dots.

I finished it off with a few Old Olive sequins and Baker’s Twine.
